The hostel was ok nothing more nothing less than expected. The best thing about the hostel is its location close to the bus station close to a big supermarket and with great views over looking the lake.

Great hostel, clean, very friendly and a great place to hangout. As everyone else has said, the asado is amazing and it gets everyone together for a great social night.

Ok dorms, beds a little narrow, guests very noisy after midnight and early in morning not controlled by staff. Toilet bins overflowing and showers trickly. Asado (90pesos!) looked great but nowhere for anyone not having it to eat, and staff use kitchen to wash up so you cant use kitchen for an hr or so. Dorms have small lockers and ours werent free when we checked in at 3pm. (wouldnt fit whole bag). All in all ok, but a little pricey for what we got.

Probably the best hostel ever. Even it is not in the center (10 min walk), you have an awesome view! The staff is very friendly and you feel home! They take their time to explaine everything in detail and organize your bus and next hostel! It's like having a buttler!!! Amazing!!!

Dont be put off by the distance from the centre, its a short walk and is more than compensated for by the great view and the very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

I Keu Ken is 10 min up gravel roads from the bus station. Take a taxi if you have luggage with wheels. The hostel offers lockers and good wifi for the area. Go for the asado if you get the chance. It was delicious! The music played in the common room is also really nice. Ignacio is a sweetheart, but one of the staff named Lalli was rude depending on her mood. She will tell you not to go mini trekking on Perito Moreno, but go for it anyway, as the glacier is prettier than the one in El Chalten.

A fantastic hostel. . It is slightly uphill from the bus station but less than a 10 minute walk - but you get the benefit of fantastic views over the town and lake. Staff are extremely helpful, rooms and beds were comfortable and good common areas to just hang out and overall very clean. Recommend their bbq good fun. There is a large supermarket nearby.

I's close to the bus station, supermarkets, and the staff are really friendly. They can help you organise buses and tours, but I organised everything myself at the bus station. I ended up changing my plans and stayed here 1 night, then 2 nights in el Chalten and 1 night again here. This wasn't an issue. I stayed ina top bunk upon my return and there was no ladder which made it difficult to get up and down!

A very friendly hostel. Great staff that helped organise our tours for us. Good kitchen facilities and good WIFI. Has a ASADO BBQ when we were there, which was a great way to meet people. Would Definitly recommend it.

Great hostel! Super friendly & helpful staff. There are large lockers for each person in the rooms & pretty good wi-fi. The breakfast is included & is basic (bread and butter, jam, dulce de leche with tea/coffee and juice). There's a nice sitting area downstairs & a very friendly atmosphere. They offer an asado (BBQ) once a week or so - and if you're there (and a meat eater) it's a fun time & excellent value w perfectly cooked sausage, beef, lamb, chicken & all the red wine & beer you can drink

I have spent 3 nights in this hostel. I have seen more than 60 hostels all around the world along my traveling and in very few cases I have left bad feedback. This is one of that. After a good beginning I switched my mind. Not all the staff is nice and helpful. The hostel is run by a couple: the boy is very nice and a good person, the girl should improve her customer orientation and voice volume!! Located too far away from the center. I have not felt like being good treated. Don't go there!

I've been backpacking with my husband for almost 10 years and I can say that I Keu Ken is one of the best hostels that I have the pleasure to stay. The staff is really REALLY nice! Always ready to help you with anything you need. Beds, breakfast, bathroom, kitchen... everything just exceed my expectations. Is it far away from the main street? Well, if you cant walk 3 or 4 blocks, what are you doing in this part of the world, where walking and enjoy the gorgeous views are the main attraction?

A bit to walk out of the city center (mainstreet), but close to the supermarket. Nice facilities, common area. Didn't find the staff much helpful, or interested to talk to u in the first place. Have lockers, but not possible to lock the door. Standard breakfast is ok.

We really liked this hostel, the staff are really nice and helpful. We would certainly recommend it. Only downsides are the walk from town, but there is a big supermarket that is really close by and the lack or room during breakfast, we had to sit in the kitchen, but these are small problems really.

This is a very nice hostel, it is clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The downsides are that some bunks do not have ladders, so if you are short, it is almost impossible to get to the top bunk. I was lucky and another traveller (that I have never met before) offered me his bottom bunk. Also, the breakfast is very basic, just bread, jams, dulce de leche and of course tea and coffee. Finally, the hostel is not in the town centre, but 15 mins up a hill.
