I really rate IKueKen - the staff are so helpful and go out of there way to look after you. The Asado they put on is out of this world and a must of you are there on an Asado night. The rooms are good and clean. Wi-fi is a bit on the slow side but apart from that I can{t recomment this place highly enough- enjoy.

Great hostel. They have an asado BBQ on the weekend which was amazing. The dorms were 4 beds and had secure lockers. The cleaner was there everyday and it was spotless. The staff were super helpful with info and bookings for the area. I would highly recommend this hostel to any one, old and young. The atmosphere was super homely, and we felt welcome from the moment we walked in the door. Only thing I would ask would be to get some fly spray for the flys!!!

Great atmospher and the best view over the lake in town.

A party hostel so good if you want to party... if not it can be a bit loud late at night. They also book buses and tours for you which is good, however we weren't told that we would be paying an additional $4 each to have them booked for us over the face value of bus ticket. There is wifi in rooms and lockers but no locks on the doors. Kitchen is also quite small.

We had the best time ever at this hostel. The staff was amazingly helpful and cool, they hosted two carne asado over the three nights we stayed with them! So tasty and created a great way to get to know and party with the other people staying at the hostel. There is a really cute yard in front of the place with a sheep. Its right next door to this huge grocery store so you can get everything you need for your day trips or cooking at the hostel.

The hostel is really charming and people is very helpful. It is not very close to Calafate center and, about the staff, the only thing that annoyed us is that they "invite" guests to their Parrillas (that are really good) but it is not a real invitation, they charge it in the check out.... men!!! you just have to say the price.

Really beautiful hostel (cottage like), up in a hill with a great view to the "Lago Argentino", very nice and clean rooms and bathrooms. Ok breakfast that was nicely served in the living room next to a fireplace, they have awesome "Asado" nights for 60 pesos, you can eat very good meat, chicken, sausage, salads, potato and a lot of wine! Julieta and the guys were always very helpful and nice to us, they book our tour to the Perito Moreno glaciar. Wish I could have spent more days there!

Its definately the best hostel I have stayed in during my trip to Argentina! Is a small hostel to relax ......and enjoy the life --)
