Had a wonderful time staying at Iguana! Perfectly located next to the big market and a great place to meet travelers. Only downside is that there are only two bathroom/showers in the whole hostel.

Originally booked in for 3 nights, ended up staying a week. Great room (double private), though the curtain left a bit to be desired on the privacy front. Full kitchen and fridge available, which is useful, but who needs it with the huge number of good restaurants in SC. A great place to stay in a fantastic little city.

very friendly hostel right by the main market. good social areas and well equipped kitchen. could probably do better if it had more than two bathrooms, though. all in all, highly reccomendable.

Nice place, we had the only private room. Plenty of blankets so you didn´t freeze in the nights, and right next to the markets! The place is what you make it. If your friendly and you have friendly people, GREAT! If not, not so much fun. I did not however enjoy the receptionists attitude. She was extremely not friendly and it seemed like anything you asked was an inconvience to her.

iguana Hostel is an excellent choice,great staff,very friendly owners,clean,comfortable,its what a hostel should be like,generally a good atmosphere around the camp fire.Padraig,ireland.
