I really liked this place. The owner is extremely friendly and very helpful. She checked in each day to see how she could help. The location is a little inconvenient since it is in a small country town but that just makes the atmosphere more interesting and a more unique experience. Also, the owner is really helpful with the bus schedule. If I ever return back to Jeju I would stay here again.

Island Guesthouse really is more like home than a guesthouse. The owner bakes her own homemade bread everyday to share, and checks up on all her guest's schedules and plans to make sure they have the best possible stay. The atmosphere is cozy and very relaxed! The location is a bit far from some of the attractions, but as long as you don't stay out too late (after 9 I think?) there'll be buses you can catch. Otherwise renting a car or catching a cab is also an option.

Felt more like a home than a hostel

Had a great stay here. The rooms and bathrooms are all really clean and there's a nice kitchen. Fresh bread every morning was fantastic and there were eggs and cereal too. The dorms were well equipped; good size lockers (bring your own key) and hangers etc. Beds were metal so they could be a little squeaky. The woman who owns it speaks great english and she helped me plan out my next day every night before bed. She made the hostel feel really homey. Will definitely stay here again.

One of the best hostel I have stayed at! The owner is great and so helpful. The hostel has funky decor and nicely laid out. Quiet spot!

The host is extremely hospitable and she makes pretty awesome bread as breakfast for everyone. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated and extremely cosy. A good hideout after a long and busy day of travelling.

You should have a car to move around if you're staying here unless you only want to stay around Seogwipo..otherwise, the buses aren't really set up for tourist travel. The hostel is great, small, but that means also just one bathroom although the toilet and shower are separated. You're basically staying in someone's home but because of that, the atmosphere is really very relaxed and lovely.
