Welcome to Island Guesthouse, a peaceful village home in southwest Jeju where life moves slowly and mornings begin with fresh air instead of traffic.

We are not in the busy city — and that is our charm.
You stay in a real local village, but you can easily explore the island by bus and return to quiet at night.

• Direct airport bus (50 minutes)
• We personally pick you up at the bus stop (with our friendly dog!)
• 5 mins – Sanbangsan Hot Spring
• 15 mins – Osulloc Tea Museum
• 10 mins – Moseulpo Port (ferry to Marado & Gapado)
• 20 mins – Jungmun
• Restaurants & convenience store in the village
• Local Korean buffet lunch (₩12,000) only 5 mins walk

You can explore Jeju easily — then come home to peace.


🌍 Hosted by a World Traveler

The owner is originally from Malaysia and has lived in Jeju for 17 years.

She speaks:
English • Korean • Malay • Chinese • Cantonese • Indonesian

Before settling in Jeju, she traveled across Africa, South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia as a backpacker.

She understands long bus rides.
She understands arriving tired.
She understands what makes a stay feel safe and meaningful.

If you are looking for a relaxed, cozy and homely guesthouse this is the place to be. Ailing is very very friendly and very helpful. It felt more like staying with a friend. Thank you very much Ailing :) PS: She normally picks you up from the bustation, that's why your contactinfromation like phonenumber/ email should be up to date.

I LOVED staying here! The host is super sweet and the puppies are even cuter! She gave me a ton of great recommendations and was so accommodating when I had no charger! I would say the location is really great if you have time to walk around and explore. It’s a quiet place with lots of nature.
