Jungla de Panama Reviews

We had a reservation and due to late buses we got there at 7.30 pm.There was no reception no lights on and nobody in sight.All we could do was yell out over the fence to get someone's attention which was pointless.The area of the supposably hostel was pitch black and a little unnerving having all your gear out the front as it located in the hills 10 minutes from Boquete.A lady walked past and rang there number but still no answer.So we walked back to town.This is not a hostel.

The owner Dorothy was an amazing hostess. She has a fantastic touch with both the guests and the many creatures that occupy La Jungla. Great family atmosphere and the animals really add to your experience of Panama. Itś a short bus ride from Boquete.... well worth the visit to get close to the Jungle!

This is a great hostel, but the location is a $4.00 cab ride outside of Boquete on the side of a beautiful mountain. I didn't actually stay there, because I was the only one there at the moment, so I wouldn't recommend it to solo travelers. However, it would be great for a couple or large group of friends. The animals are awesome and the owner is extremely kind !
