Kazys' is a very cozy hostel. The common room was a nice solice from the freezing Harbin winter. The bedrooms are fine, except for that one time the guy on the top bunk decided to smoke. Slippers were provided. No western toilet when I was there, but hey this is China not USA. The hostel is about as centrally located as possible. Just around the corner there are many restraunts (and starbucks, mdconalds and kfc) and down the road are many parks and amazing russian style buildings.
Pretty small room, bathroom smelled a little and it is hard to find as there only a chinese sign. Staff is very friendly!
Only slight issue was the key card didn't work. Staff sorted that out quickly. Also room 210, the bathroom door didn't shut properly...not so cool when sharing with friends.

A value for money accommodation. The staff were rather unwelcoming and almost impolite. But they still try to be helpful nevertheless. Greatest plus is its location since it is just near Zhongyang Dajie and easily accessible from the airport.
Location is perfect. But this is more like a student house than a hostel. mostly chinese. Still, Cheap. Chinese clean. No smell. Has a bar. The staff is really bad, grumpy, not helpfull, not friendly, not nice. they should hire better staff. For the money and the location, is great. I could stay here again.
The rooms are really moldy and in the shower/toilet area is a lot of mold at the ceiling about 1 cm or more thick. The air was really bad on that floor. I would not stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay at Kazy Hostel. We stayed in a family room and there was lots of space, our room wasn't cleaned at all during our three night stay but we didn't ask for it to be so maybe there was our error. the communal room is good and the staff were really helpful. You can buy the essentials at the hostel and the honesty box is a great idea and saves time when the hostel is busy. Good food menu and beer is cheap!
Definitely a good place to stay.

Pretty good hostel! I like the lobby area - you could relax and bring your own food and drink rather than feeling obliged to buy theirs. Our dorm stank, and there was mould on the wall. The staff were friendly and pretty knowledgeable - though didn't give great direction to the airport! Overall a nice atmosphere and great for meeting others casually. :)
- Excellent location ( close to the pedestrian streed & not far from the river) - Ok common area - Cleanliness could be better - Staff could be more friendly and supportive ; ( only 1 out of 3 staff people really helped) - Good tour for the Ice and Snow festival ( shuttle + ticket) - Good value for money ( both the hostel and the others selling products)
The heater was sometimes way to warm, espacially if you have a room without a window.
The address is no longer the Mosque which I discovered after walking around with a 20kg backpack at a temp of -28, freezeing, 7 days inn told me they had moved and let me use their internet to search new address, For 4 months ive backpacked round China and stayed in a lot of hostels, hear my words...Room 109 is the worst room to date, stinks like a sewer, poured bleach down the bathroom drain and after 20mins smell returned, room was far too overheated really made me feel unwell. Also given rou
