A very good stay at the Killarney International Hostel - we booked a private twin room which was two bunk beds but met our needs perfectly and allowed us some privacy. The value of a night's stay as with most hostels was excellent and the facilities allow travellers or backpackers everything they require for a stay in the outdoor capital of Ireland. Bathroom was shared facilities which was fine and they offer breakfast, which we weren't expecting for just 4 euros per person. We really enjoyed it

This Hostel is about 6km out of town, so if you are a solo traveller with no car then don't bother staying here - the public transport is not good. If you have transport this is a decent place to stay with generally pretty good facilities. The con is that there are alot of school groups who stay here.

I couldn't be happier with the stay at Killarney. The staff were exceptional in their conduct, very friendly and talkative. Will be recommending this hostel to anyone who is travelling that way and looking for a place to stay.
