The graffiti everywhere and the laundry hanging on every railing did not give me a good initial impression. (Looked like a rather rough local apartment building) However, aside from the outward appearance, I thought the hostel was rather good. The room and bed were clean and in good order and the toilet and shower facilities were satisfactory. The cafe/bar was very nice, with a big menu and excellent chinese and western food. Cloudland was so nice I decided to come back for a few days. The lounge is very cosy & a great place to meet fellow travellers for meals & movies... there are soo many! I really staying here at Cloudland. The staff are super fiendly & helpful with any advice or booking enquiries. Also there is great western food for those days of comfort or a wide variety of local produce available at the market only minutes away. The public transport is marked clearly on the hostel's flyer so coming & going is easy & very cheap.I really staying here at Cloudland. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was excelent Great pizza. It was very cold so the kitchen gave all the guests free chinese medicine to help prevent cold. I have stayed in many hostels across china and I rate Cloudland as the best. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was excelent Great pizza. Our rooms in the hostel were lovely - large and well lit, and the manager of the hostel, Jane, was very helpful and kind to us. Yet the hostel has an odd vibe - there\\\'s poorly done graffitti everywhere, and there are no restrictions on where guests can dry their clothes, with the result that there\\\'s an explosion of laundry all over the corridors and balconies.
