I waited for quite a while to be checked in, even though I arrived during reception opening hours. The pillows are really awful. Other than that it's not too bad, the kitchen could do with a deep clean.

This is without a doubt the worst hostel I have ever stayed at. Owner was dour and grumpy at all times, and facilities are vastly undersized for the number of beds that have been crammed in. Everything is filthy and poorly maintained. The overall atmosphere was miserable, no camaraderie or general hostel conversations (I think because nobody wanted to be there!) Auberge de jeunesse Maeva (Hostel Maeva) is literally just around the corner - stay there instead.

The hostel is good for its price. Decent location and facilities.

This hostel is worst hostel ever. Dirty everywhere i can't even take off shoes in room but they're not allwod to take on shoes inside. I couldn't take a shower cuz i wouldn't want get any ill from the dirty. I don't think they even has housekeeping.

The hostel was clean and safe It had all the facilities Coffee could have been free Check-in is strictly at 3'clock which is a but of a pain if the owner isn't there but i was able to leave my bag in the cafe next door which is open to guests during the winter but open to all later in the year the beds weren't comfortable, plastic pillows and mattress. they need to be replaced. The resident dog is best not approached until she comes to you.She gets very sad after people leave.

super location right in downtown pierre gave us good agvice we had a good party at the bar eveything was alright that s whatan hostel should be the other traveller were very friendly another good thing its very near from the bus station and the grocery is at 1 minute and the bar all around we had a good BBQ on the terasse because its cover even if it was the winter at night some poeple play guitar ans skippy make us laugh

cold room, dirty everywhere. doesn't look like you even get in a hostel when you enter the "reception".

The reception is the reception of the hostel no body ask to stay at the reception who is a bar and a restaurant the hostel is at the 2 nd and 3tr floor for the inscription its written 4 times Réception

I came in expecting a rotten experience (considering the review score) but was pleasantly surprised by a friendly host who gave good information and advice with conditions to be expected in any hostel. My only beef is that the room I stayed in could only be entered through another room that was very small which made it difficult for night time visits to the washroom or at night when people were getting ready for sleep.

There were only two bad things: we couldn't do the check in until 3pm and the beds were super uncomfy.. I ended up with back spasms. Other than that, the location was relatively close to the train and bus stations as well as Old Quebec. Metro is closeby as well, so it was possible for us to grab some food and freely cook it at the hostel.

Security: there were lockers, but just really really small ones Staff: the owner seemed not to care about anything Cleanliness: the washrooms were not clean and the kitchen as well and a dog had his food in the kitchen as well. absolutely no go!! Value for money: i payed for breakfast. there was just beanutbutter and jelly. Facilities: the kitchen did not have bowls or nomal sized cups

When i went here it wasn't that busy, but the cosy hostel created a good atmosphere when people were there. I barely interacted with the staff but were helpful enough when required. I could see it being uncomfortable when busy, with only two small toilets and shower rooms. The location is down the hill from the old city, which is where most people want to go to see but was fine really.
