Whilst the hostel is out of the main \"öld town\" it would be in walking distance if it wern\'t so cold this time of year. During the week the pubs are pretty quiet, however the hostel had a good social feel about it with beers and cards all round. decent tv and free internet were a bonus. the downside is that it is a bit cramped, feels cheap and the showers are limited.Whilst the hostel is out of the main \"öld town\" it would be in walking distance if it wern\'t so cold this time of year. Philipp, the hostel guy is great FUN!!! A really nice guy. One of the best places Ive stayed... We stayed in the 8 bed dorm, which had the squeakiest beds ever! Not a lot of sleep. Free internet available. Not a lot of character, but reasonable price and decent location for quebec. Decent enough of a hostel. Pierre the proprietor is quite nice. Bilingual. The hostel has two locking doors at the entrance, and they are supposed to be locked at 9, but remained open my entire stay.Hostel is clean. 2 toilets 1 shower on main floor, but they were usually available without waiting. Ugly neighborhood. 10 minute, moderate-strenuous walk from old town. Wouldnt be my first choice for a return, but no complaints on the hostel itselfDecent enough of a hostel.
