It's a SHAME to propose such a little room to stay : 1. the room, as a single, was 1,50 m x 2, 50 m 2. the room is in front of the toilettes shared 3. the bed wasn't changed for more than 10 years and is making noise and all the customers can hear it all night 4. the door is making noise each time you open and close it and all the customers can hear it all day and all night For one night it's ok, plus, you've got the internet at the entry Definitively NOT recommanded for a single

The towels were flimsy and a half used soap container was a bit tacky.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a nice place at a good location. A bit noisy sometimes but not too much.

Lovely bright hostel with quirky decoration combined with beautiful original Andalucian tiling. My room was light & airy with plenty of space. The member of staff who welcomed me was very friendly & helpful, & spoke excellent English. Very well situated for exploring Old Town Malaga. Also, no outside noise as the hostal is in a narrow, pedestrianised street.

it was fine for a two night short stay in the centre of Malaga. Quiet in terms of noise from the street but in the hostel it was noisy being woken up with doors and people walking around upstairs. As we were hardly in the room or hostel it was a fine place as a base.

I stayed in La Casa Mata last Saturday and I was really impressed with the facilities. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room I had was lovely! All kitted out with Ikea furnishings, it was clean and modern and perfect for an overnight stay. The hostel in a typical andalucian house and located in a beautiful little side street just off one of the main streets of Malaga, so it's quiet, but if you want to grab something to eat, there's plenty of amazing bars and restaurants nearby.

Although the single room was very small it was perfectly adequate. The shared bathroom facilities were good but perhaps too may people using them.

Clean room, nice staff!!! Highly recommend !!

very nice hostel in the centre of Malaga. I wished I could have been longer than a night.

Hostels should have kitchen facilities and use of the internet as well as lounge to meet others.

Great location and good welcome too I loved Malaga

We stayed in a private room here and it was nice - spacious, clean, secure, and well located. There was not much socializing with other guests, and the atmosphere was just quiet, but everything else was good.

It was a good hostel. Only problem there was no heating in the room. But on the other hand they had a very warm dune feather blanket which worked fine during the night. The hostel is a bit of a walk from the bus station but quite near the metro station of Malaga Alameda central. There was a good size kitchen. The staff was helpful and polite. Good value for money.
