It'd be great to have more than one shower between all of the guests.

I thought the hostel was great, the only thing missing was social contact, we could never staff when we needed and not many people were around in general.

The location of this hostel is great! The staff was very friendly. The only downside is that it can be a bit nosy sometimes. Nevertheless a beautiful hostel and we really enjoyed our stay.

We arrived late at night at 11pm and the receptionist stayed to welcome us and check us in. She was very friendly and knowledgable about the city. There was a very well equipped kitchen if you wanted to use it, and the hostel is located about a five minute walk to the main bars and restaurants in the city centre. Very clean and friendly atmosphere as well.

The directions to the hostel are confusing. I thought the river was supposed to be on my right, not that the street was going to be on the right of the river. I got lost for too long on my way to the hostel. Also, I thought it was a bed and breakfast, but there was no breakfast.

Nice hostel and great staff. The only problem: The room smells of smoke because the patio, where it is allowed to smoke, has windows to the corridor, which is in front of the windows of the room we had. Anyway, it was a nice stay. Thanks a lot :)

The owner was quite nice and helpful, and location is excellent. Importantly, there was a heating system in the room as well (it was relatively cold when we stayed there). The room was in ok shape, nothing fancy, good valie for money. Downsides are very lousy beds, unreliable wi-fi (especially if you are in the topmost bedroom), and there is too many people per bathroom.

The hostel La Casa Mata Central is excellently located to the centre of the old town in Malaga. However, its difficult to get to with a lot of baggage and some distance from the train and bus station. The sungle rooms are awfully tiny with barely enough room to move in. the hostel can also be quite niosy depending upon where you are located - i was opposite a bathroom, with had no window in place above its door and therefore, i heard everything! Consequently I needed to sleep with ear plugs in.

Very helpful staff and really well equipped kitchen - the communal free food was a really nice touch! We were only in Malaga for one night and it suited us perfectly. Great location.

The bathroom had gnats flying around and the towel provided had holes and looked dirty. The sheets were worn and questionably clean. Bed was extremely uncomfortable- definitely bring earplugs because there is a lot of noise when people enter and exit. Overall the hostel is a great location- 5 minutes walking from the center and a 15 minute walk to the train to the airport and train station. Staff was very helpful.

the stuff are so kind and explain everything to us. She showed me the sightings places, trains time table before we ask. There is shred free food for customers so that we don't have to buy oil to cook something. WIFI doesnt work well but there is a PC we can use it for free.

The location was excellent. The hostel was cosy and extraordinarily peaceful place. There was a wonderful guest kitchen and you could also use washing machine (for free!). The common WC/bathroom was spacious, but quite busy sometimes - it would be great if there was another common WC. My single room was very small, but it had everything I needed. There was no heating, but the guests had been given wonderfully warm eiderdown duvets. WiFi worked well most of the time. The staff was excellent.

Etwas laut, was aber an der Bauweise des Hauses liegt. Zimmer mit dünner Holztür direkt bei der Treppe und vor Flur. Beheizbarkeit schlecht.

I was a bit disappointed that the towel was "pass its sell by date" although it had been "washed" towels and bed linnen are very personal items and needs upgrading regularly. and it would have been nice to be offered little sachets of shampoo/shower gel even without the casa mata logo. I will certainly recommend casa matta to my friends and family who use MALAGA AIRPORT. COMPTON DE CASTRO
