Etwas laut, was aber an der Bauweise des Hauses liegt. Zimmer mit dünner Holztür direkt bei der Treppe und vor Flur. Beheizbarkeit schlecht.

I was a bit disappointed that the towel was "pass its sell by date" although it had been "washed" towels and bed linnen are very personal items and needs upgrading regularly. and it would have been nice to be offered little sachets of shampoo/shower gel even without the casa mata logo. I will certainly recommend casa matta to my friends and family who use MALAGA AIRPORT. COMPTON DE CASTRO

The workers at the hotel are incredibly helpful. I accidentally left my cell phone there, and they emailed me the next day to let me know that they had it and that I could pick it up when I returned. They even offered to mail it to me! Amazing!

PROS: Good location, clean, helpful staff. CONS: A bit noisy at night.

We booked a double room ensuite and a single room with a shared bathroom. The first one was very good (except of the broken shower door). The single room was tooooo small (just appr. 4 qm. ) The kitchen was clean with free tea and coffee. The stuff was very nice and friendly. The location is closed to the city center and not far away from the train station. The taxi to the airport costs 25 euro at night (we had to leave very early in the morning). In the daytime it is cheaper.

Really nice location--excellent access to downtown Málaga. It's also on a small side street, so it's nice and quiet. Staff is really helpful and friendly, though not there 24 hours. If you want the amenities of a hotel, stay at a hotel. But if you're looking for something small and simple, pleasant and inexpensive, Casa Mata is a fantastic choice. I certainly plan on staying there again.
