La Dolce Vita is a home from home type of place with a really well equipped kitchen, comfy TV room with lots of DVDS. Our double room was huge including a useful table for completing our Spanish homework and plenty of storage (important as we ended up staying their longer than anticipated) Its a very relaxing place and in a great location. Downside is there is no internet or WiFi but you are under 1 minute away from an internet cafe so its all good. A fantastic hostel - we could tell the owners have put a lot of effort into getting things right! We had a large ensuite room which was colourful, bright and very clean. My wife was ill during our stay and Jacqueline and Oliver did everything to make our stay a pleasant one. If I could give this hostel 150% I would. Highly recommended! Thank you for all the tourist information Jacqueline and for recommending the wonderful Doctor Gaston who has provided excellent treatment during my illness. hostel was definately the most impressive one that we´ve stayed in in South America so far..We had a dbl room with ensuite and a sun deck outside the door to the bedroom.. Very nice, quiet, clean place. Beautifully decorated. Good kitchen. Jacqueline, the owner, was very friendly and helpful, but her husband was quite aloof and intimidating. If you're looking for a place to relax, this is it. However, I'm not sure it is worth the price seeing as how it doesn't include internet, breakfast, or even a towel.Very nice, quiet, clean place.
