Hosts are so friendly and helpful! Most indepth city intro we have had in all of south america!
We even stayed longer than booked. Excellent people.
I had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it. The owners were really helpful and gave us lots of information of local places to visit and good restaurants to eat at. The room was spacious and clean.
Great place, good staff. Would definitely recommend it.

One of my favourite hostels in South America! Jackie and Oliver are fabulous hosts. When we arrived, Jackie spent a half hour reviewing a map of Sucre with us and advising us on things to do and places to visit. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. We always had hot water for our showers. The kitchen is well equipped with a nice out door dining area. The common room is spacious with a TV and hundreds of DVDs to choose from. Great location and a lovely place to meet other travellers.
A home from home in the centre of Sucre. We originally booked 2 nights and ended up staying a week! Large private ensuite rooms, great kitchen and chill out areas, run by a very friendly French lady who was helpful with our every request. Our favourite hostel in Bolivia!
We had a lovely relaxing three days at Dolce Vita. We had a big, airy room and table and chairs, which we used for breakfast, keeping our food fresh in the fridge in the kitchen. Pleasant stroll into town and the pedicure I had next door or so was the best I've ever had! We walked everywhere, including up to the lookout. Jacquie was very welcoming, and gave uadvice on where to go and her husband helped us with our cases, as we are older than the average visitor. But we loved it.

la dolce vita hostel offer everything as a traveler need
I can well understand why it is rated so high. We arrived early in the morning and were warmly welcomed, the staff gave us great local advice and were more than happy to give us full access to all amenities on our checkout day even though we were leaving in the evening. The bus booking company mixed up our departure dates and the hostel were very gracious about it. I have no trouble referring fellow travellers to this hostel
This is the best hostel I have been to in South America.Jackie was super. The atmosphere and rooms were amazing!i really enjoyed my stay. Fab hostel in a fab city!
We only planned on staying in Sucre for 2 nights and ended up here for 11. If you are visiting Sucre this is the hostel you want to stay in. It's centrally located with excellent staff that are very helpful and informative. The hostel is clean, they regularly changed or sheets and towels. Atmosphere in the hostel is very friendly as most people are studying spanish.
