The top rating says it all. We stayed here for about 8 days and all through we couldn´t fault the place. Rooms are HUGE and the whole place is spotless, good communal areas and inside area to chill with a huge collection of films. Very friendly owners with good local knowledge. Close to everything you want or need in Sucre. Stayed in a room with shared bathroom which was spotlessly clean at all times. Can't recommend this place highly enough and the price is brilliant for what you get! x

an Oasis in the middle of Sucre, we felt as in the mediterranean in a private appartment. Just great!

We loved La Dolce Vita. Very friendly and helpful owner. Beautiful and thoughtfully decorated rooms. Good social spaces and great location. The only thing that could have improved the hostel would be a computer for guest use (although there is wifi).

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hostel!! The atomsphere was relaxed and homely! The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious! The staff were extremely helpful! And it was a stones throw away from the main area in Sucre! Perfect if you want to relax!

This is my favorite hostel, by far, in all of my travels. We had the private double room at the front of the hostel and it was beautiful. Big, clean, adorable bathroom. The common areas are excellent and well taken care of. The owners are very friendly, accommodating and calm. We saw the origins show, which the hostel recommends and that was excellent as well. The little two story patio in the middle of the hostel is beautiful. The kitchen is clean, well equipped and big.

We extended our stay as the hostel was exactly what we needed to recuperate after some fairly continuous travelling. A well-equipped kitchen was a bonus and the balcony upstairs terrace eating area was a perfect place to meet other travellers. The staff are fantastic. Rooms are only cleaned twice a week (would expect the toilet bin to be cleaned daily) but all have character. The room by the front door is a little noisey due to people slamming it closed.

This is, without a doubt, the nicest place we have stayed in Bolivia. Excellent location, beautiful rooms and the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. There are mostly (only?) single or double rooms, so to take part of the social life you have to get out of your room - the kitchen is very nice, and we had a couple of rally nice evenings with other travellers at the outdoor terrace. Book ahead, as it seems to be fully booked as good as always.

The best hostel we stayed in during our time in Bolivia. The room was spotless, the toliet and shower were very clean and worked well, the staff, especially Vince, couldn't have been more helpful and the hostel is located only a few blocks from the main square.

Vincent runs the best hotel we stayed in during two months in south America. There is a real social energy about this hotel and all the guests had a great time and really gelled with each other. Great facilities and lovely rooms. I'd go back here again tomorrow. Thank you Vincent x x

We really enjoyed our stay here, the place is so clean and our room was amazing. Well equipped kitchen and a good DVD collection. There were some internet connection problems but the wireless router has been replaced so that should be all sorted now.

Nice place to stay. (We had two rooms, but the room on the groundfloor was not so cozy than the other room upstairs) Unfortunatelly they don't offer breakfast, but there is a kitchen to prepare it yourself.

A great guesthouse to stay in. Our room was huge, with very comfortable beds! Good hot water, and a well stocked kitchen. Big issue with wifi dropping out all the time, but everything else here was fantastic. Close to the main Plaza, and even closer to the Central Markets. Highly recommended!!

Great guest house located close to town. We found the owner (and cat) super friendly and would recommend others coming through Sucre to stay here. The only addition would be that - if this place included breakfast it would have being awesome.
