Thank you Jose for your friendly and warm welcome towards us. It was a great pleasure staying at your place.
Very friendly, almost hyperactive staff ;-) that always helps you out. Beautiful rooftop terrace with amazing views. Close to all the travel agencies in Jerusalen street. Tiny kitchen could have been a little cleaner, but was ok to cook breakfast and dinner anyway. Altogether God place to stay!
Last here 2years ago . The welcome from Jose was just as effervescent as before. Clean rooms, hot showers and a sunny terrace to sit and view the volcanoes. No breakfast, but there is a kitchen.
The owner was ver helpful. Location is great, short walk from the main attractions. Rooms are basic. Hot water and wifi were good. They let us check in at 6.30am which was very kind. The kitchen is basic and tiny but nobody else was cooking. Laundry is on site and quick. I only stayed one night so it was perfect.
Our room was ready which was great. However security left a little to be desired- you had to leave you key when you left. And the keys just sat on top of the reception desk really for anyone to grab. When we were paying our bill they wanted to charge the full amount and took some explaining that we already paid our deposit online and with us speaking no Spanish and staff no English it took some persistence. Overall cheap and you get what you pay for- location is great.
Great place to stay in Arequipa. The location is perfect, just blocks away from pretty much everything including the plaza de armas and santa catalina monastery. The rooms are nice and clean, and most importantly the owner, Jose, is extremely helpful in every way imaginable- booking tours, recommending restaurants, anything you need. He is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet and will make sure you get the most out of your stay in Arequipa.
