I already knew the hostel by recommendation of a friend. Once I got there, the staff received me in a very friendly manner. From there onwards, they were willing to help me in everything I needed to do, always willing to get the best discounts for me to be on any tour, to give me all the necessary information for my stay in Arequipa. While it is true that mine wasn't a shining new room, I could sleep really comfortable and there is plenty of space to order your things. It has everything needed.

The coverage of the WiFi has some weak zone. Should remind the operator when book early morning taxi. I don't speak Spainish and he forgot telling the next shift!

The Atmosphere was just not good. It was not clean. We did not get The room we reserved! Plus we had to wait until 6pm (!) to get into the room (I don't know what they did for so long - obviously not cleaning). When we asked for a later (just 1hr) check out for The in convenience they just said "No!". They were not cooperative at all. Wie did mit get free towels as it is stated on the web page and there was no toilet paper! On The other Side oft the road is a very nice hostel that just opened!

You will not find better in Arequipa for a private room - 4 blocks from Plaza de Armas, grocery stores and bakery on the corner. Friendly and helpful staff, very clean and peaceful. Gorgeous rooftop with amazing views of mountains / volcano. Small but adequate kitchen if you like to cook. Security great as nobody can enter without ringing the doorbell, although I would recommend taking your key with you as they are often left on the reception desk. I have stayed an extra week.

Staff was friendly and spoke as little English as we did Spanish. Nice area with a bar (Chalawaki House) that plays NFL games a block away.

Thank you Jose for your friendly and warm welcome towards us. It was a great pleasure staying at your place.
