This is a great place for surfers. The water is a stone's throw out the door. The showered and wetsuit/board storage area are a nice touch.

Cozy and great! Loved it!

James busts his tail to take care of the place, and to help us with anything we needed. Pete and Pat worked hard to create the most grand, hottest showers we'd taken. Even Lexie went out of his way, to plan and host a neighborhood bbq, filled with local surf instructors. Was the coziest hostel I've stayed in, made it super difficult to say goodbye!

Fantastic location, new showers are excellent, very friendly staff.

I had a wonderful stay here! Would definitely recommend to a friend!

Really good but def need new showers and up the price a bit to cover. Few more wee shelves and mirrors would be great but lovely staff and great location.

Good location, lots to do in the town, friendly staff, kitchen was always open. Too many stags! Not suitable for a relaxing weekend away, TV room was kind of dark and drab. The showers were too small, I had to leave my things on the sink outside which didn't make them safe. The room had a keycode but the door rarely shut properly

A noisy and not very clean place. Bathrooms were dirty and so were the rooms. Bedsheets had stains. Lots of noise and vandalism at night (including shouting and fighting in the corridor for 2 hours from 2 to 4 am - plus knocking and kicking at our door). No staff to be found at night to take care of such situations. In the morning we noticed that somebody threw up in the corridor (and on the only mirror to be found there), but didn't feel the urge to clean it. Also no staff at check-out-time.

I was in Lahinch for a surf. The hostel is ideal, literally accross the road from the waves, their surf facilites are amazing, surf board storage, wetsuit drying area, hot showers that you can jump in in your wetsuit. There was a nice atmosphere, the staff were helpful and welcoming. I'll be back again!

First of all we were assigned to a mixed dorm, which we had not booked. Then it took a while to even find a staff member to explain the situation. In fairness we were relocated on request. However, the showers were filthy and there wasn't much hot water. Also the hostel was really noisy throughout the whole night. It didn't seem like there were any staff around to keep order. I would not recommend this hostel.

Problems that I've had at nearly every hostel in Ireland (so feel free to ignore): Doesn't have a policy to change sheets for every guest. Springs on taps were worn down and needed replacing (you need to hold them on constantly). Blunt kitchen knives. Kitchen was not generally well taken care of (eg food labelling, breakfast policy, had to rewash most crockery) Really nice and helpful staff.

Great place. Fairly quiet when I was there. Heater in room . Clean.

Top quality..Clean and near the beach...Yay

Only complaint is that it was quite noisy at night. Our room was on the street side and there was lots of ppl coming and going and partying and being pretty noisy. Not the hostels fault at all, but maybe ask for a room on the other side if u like a good nights sleep!

good but very loud, walls of paper and the showers weren't great. Otherwise clean and the best location.

Besides a really good location by the sea, there is nothing special about this hostel. The room was OK, but everywhere else was pretty dirty despite the hostel being fairly empty, and the boy at the reception failed to find us a sponge to wash the dishes with so we had to go and buy it.

As it is the only hostel in lahinch you mightas well stay there. However the kitchen and bathrooms were not very clean. So if you have a couple of extra euro you could also stay in a cheap b

Great place to stay and surf, good waves for all abilities nearby, can rent gear cheap!

I had a lovely time! Thank you 😃
