No booze and common area closed at 11 is pretty lame. Other than that, it's cool.

Excellent location, staff helpful. They DO NOT HAVE FREE PARKING!!! you have to park on the streets, or pay a private parking. Poor breakfast, very poor... but it is something. I stayed in better and cheap hostels in Europe.

We had a great time staying at the Le Gite du Plateau Mont-Royal hostel. The location is great. There are a lot of store and bars in the area. Stuff was friendly and helpful. I suggest people to stay in the hostel if you want to have great time and dissent pay.

Stinky room, uncomfortable bed, sheets like sandpaper, really lame breakfast, overpriced. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Room with private bath was in a cellar and felt like a jail cell. We couldn't stand it and had to move to a second floor room with shared bath. The place smelled like insecticide mixed with stale tobacco smoke. I wouldn't recommend it.
