At first, I didn't expect much from this hostel. Thought that it would just be a cheap accommodation, however it turns out quite surprising. The room's clean, neat and tidy. They have room cleaning services and towel was changed everyday. They provide all the daily necessities such as shower gel, shampoo, hot & plain water for drinking, mug. They even provide fridge (but it's for share). Location was great! Convenient store and food store is just a few steps away. Highly recommended!!

2 complaints: We did not stay in Lee Garden Guesthouse, but Star Guesthouse. Normally, I wouldn't care, but since we had a lot of luggage, it was a pain to drag it all the way up to the check-in at the Lee Garden only to be told to go back across the street. A simple courtesy email to let us know where to go the 1st time. At check-out, why was no one at the front desk? I rang the bell and waited outside for 20 minutes. In the end, I had to catch my flight, so I lost my key deposit of $100HK.

I stayed in the Lee Garden Guest House only one night. It was easy to find and the lady on the reception was very helpful and friendly. I was brought to a building on the opposite site of the street, so in fact it wasn't really Lee Garden. But it was okay. The room was very tiny but clean. I think for Hong Kong it's a good choice, because the rooms in Hong Kong are always very small.

Stayed in a twin single room with ensuite, room was small but comfortable. Very clean rooms & bathrooms. Excellent location right in the heart of TST and very close to MTR exit. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again, highly recommended

Very reasonable for the private room & location. But no free space to talk friends is not so fun.

This guest house is well run. The rooms are clean secure and as good as you can expect for the money. I had to get somewhere after checking in, the staff were helpful. I would use this place again and recommend it.

What ever you do, don't book a 3 single bed room at this place! We stayed there last week, and even though when we booked it clearly stated that we had 3 single beds, when we turned up we found out that there were only 2 beds. 2 of us therefore had to share a very small double bed. Even though we complained to the hotel, they were not willing to listen to us or do anything about it. A clear case of false advertising, beware!!

Lee Garden Guest house is a good hotel/hostel. we had a double bed with private warshroom. It was extrememly small, but I didn't expect it to be that big for the price. The location is great, you're right in the middle of Kowloon! such an interesting area. The only main issue I had was with check out - no one available for checkout until 9 am - you pay $100 Key dep. too. Good for backpackers or anyone on a budget. cosy bed and room is cleaned daily

Our room was small but it was clean ( everyday the staff cleaned our room ). What I appreciated most was their mini kitchen just outside our room. They provide an electric airpot , mini fridge, bread toaster which are all working unlike other hotels were these items are only for display. The location was excellent for shopping and sight seeing as well. I am just concerned of the fire safety of the place. When we arrived at the place I looked for their exit in case of fire.

Location is good, opposite Public Bank, food is no problem. we stayed there for 3 nite, place is clean, every day the cleaner will tidy the place, changing towel everyday. Should be no complaint for the amount paid. Of course, the place with a small double bed and a single bed.

Although we booked ahead, we were moved from Lee Garden Guest House to Star House so we cannot actually review Lee Garden. I have stayed in many places in Hong Kong before, this time due to the fair, none of the places were available. I would not recommend this place - for a tiny bit more you get a lot better value for money. Location is fine, the staff speak very little English (but they are friendly), we had the tiniest double bed I've ever seen.
