Really nice. Great atmosphere and comfy beds. Amazing rooftop. Location is pretty local, but still cool stuff to see and only a ten minute train from tourist stuff.

Wontonmeen is a cozy hostel located close to buses, a supermarket & food options. The staff are super helpful & friendly offering recommendations for the area. The cafe Hung Wan is close by. I booked a private room which included an ensuite (very clean) & air conditioning (essential in Hong Kong heat!). There is a roof top which has an awesome view at night & where you can smoke. Overall it isn’t very social & the location isn’t exactly central so I would recommend for a short stay.

Nice, smaller hostel with a lot of really nice amenities & not far from several transit options. Host was quick to respond and had a lot of nice suggestions for the area!
