This hostel was pretty perfect! Although trying to find it at night might have been a bad idea, the rest of our time there was fantastic! The owner and workers are so helpful and kind! So far on my trip this is where I would go back first! Worth it!! Secure lockers, sheets, breakfast, free tea, cheap beer and a cute outdoor area. All you need!

the most important thing to say about this place are the people who work there.... they were very friendly. clean sheets, nice location. follow the directions given to the point and you will reach there... (we tried to improvise.. but eventually had to make a call to the reception to get proper directions ) walkable distance to city centre. slightly far from the train and bus station (actually it is a 25 min walk... but with big bags to carry.. i wouldn't recommend)... almost perfect..

For me, everything about this place was perfect. Sure the location is a little separated from the center, but it's in it's own part of Thessaloniki that is unique itself. The atmosphere is very relaxed, it's more than clean, and the price is well worth it.What makes this hostel the best place ever is the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, and Vicky, part-owner, was absolutely incredible. Her humility and friendliness made my one night feel like it was a night back home. Jeremy

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at after 6 months of travelling. The atmosphere was top-notch, with a relaxing area outside and inside for travellers to hang out. The main gal running the place, Vicki, is the greatest, and made everyone feel right at home. They got one wall covered with trip suggestions and places to visit in and around Thessaloniki and will help with arrangements if needed. Wifi in the rooms and outside. Bedside shelf w/ light & AC is handy as well - nice touch!

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, a security locker with no need for a pad lock, and the hostel was right in Old Town about a 10-minute walk to the Rotunda and a 15-minute walk to the White Tower. The hostel seems more like a guest house which automatically puts it at a higher caliber than the average hostel in my opinion. I'd stay there again....

This is the best hostel I've stayed in anywhere in Europe. Staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful, the facilities are top notch and it's only a 15 minute walk away from the city center. Very clean and comfortable.

Loved my brief stay at the Little Big House, I immediately felt at home. Thanks to all of the staff who were beyond helpful in advising my trip around Greece. This is the place to stay in Thessaloniki.

On a positive, the staff were the best ever. On a negative, 2euros for that type of breakfast... I've had better for free

Staff were great; always smiley and sorted out booking my onwards transport for me. Unlimited filler coffee all day is always appreciated. Only downside was the shower which was really too small to use comfortably. It's in a lovely old town area but it's slightly uphill away from the main centre.

I believe it was one of the best hostels I have stayed. Only a small hostel but the rooms were really comfortable. The staff was amazing. They know the city really well and they can give you information about everything. They don't help you because it is their job, but you can feel they really want you to help you and have a good time, and this is what makes the difference.

The hostel is located in the old town which is a bit of a walk from the city centre. But the facilities and staff are excellent! The staff helped to book my bus and gave me directions even. You can walk up a bit higher to enjoy the nice view of Thessaloniki

Excellent hostel. Vicky and the team really know how to make a very clean, welcoming hostel. Only downside was very small showers but with everything else being exceptional, it's not something you bother about :). Will definitely be back.

I like to call this hostel "little big home" as the moment I walked into their hostel I felt at home. The staff are absolutely amazing and willing to go the extra mile to help. The beds are very comfortable and each room has its own kitchen and ensuite bathroom. Nice views of Thessaloniki from the balcony. If I am ever back in thessoliniki which I hope I am, I will definitely be staying here
