The staff is very friendly and helpful. They made sure that we had free transportation to the airport and then called to have a driver take us back to the airport. They took care of everything which made out trip so easy. Great place to stay.

We stayed on the six floor and there was no lift, it was like a hike everyday... Was good for the legs but was tiresome after a while - especially when we had stuff to take upstairs or if we forgot something in our room.

Very helpful staff and perfect location to explore Hanoi. Quite tiny the common area where breakfast is served. You can have something cheaper with same quality. If you stay at least 3 nights they pick you up at the airport (at the time when we went)...which is not too bad (15usd airport downtown otherwise). Overall, a bit pricey for what you get.

The staff was helpful and really did a lot to accommodate us. The location was close to the major shopping area but far enough a way to be quiet. Our only complaint is that some of their tours were a bit pricey. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

If there was an option for something higher than excellent, this staff would get it! They were amazing! I loved my time here and would stay here again in an instant! Going down a weird alley to get there was a little off-putting, but other than that it was amazing. We had one solo friend who couldn't get a room, so they moved him to the other location free of charge. We also booked our halong bay trip through them (stay 1 night there it's a long drive) and the company they work with is great

I can recommend this hostel. Very nice hostel, offers all you need. Friendly, helpful staff and good breakfast. Only thing not to do is book tickets or tours at the hotel travel agency. The Trips are not the best and tickets can be bought elsewhere for less money.

Great little place, right on the lake and near everything. Staff were amazing, even calling up and chasing my tour i'd arranged (by myself not through them) when I was worried they were late. Will def be back :)

Arrived late at night (just after midnight) and had a warm welcome. I wanted to organise a tour to Halong bay and Sapa and they went about doing it right there and then! Great service. Room was nice with a selection of free biscuits and goodies...nice touch!. .When i arrive back from Spa at 6am they offered to take me to their sister hotel for free by taxi where they had a room available immediately. Good value and great staff

This is a great hostel! They picked us up from the airport free of charge, the rooms are really nice with free snacks, the location is great - right on the lake, and the breakfast is delicious and free! They also helped us to book trips to Ha Long bay as well as an open bus ticket - which they then gave us a packed lunch for! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Hanoi.

Look the room was clean, good breakfast but the lady at the front desk constantly tryin to hustle some type of money out of you. 'Book tour with us' 'we offer you hot shower and leave your luggage here for a few days while you travel' 'where are you going?' 'Have you booked transport' 'have you already paid for the bus', constant ticking in her head how to scam you. It's apparently $1 a kilo for laundry. Mine weighed 2.6,she charged me $6, and it was brown and filthy and missing clothes.

The guy who operates this place actually had us rerouted to his "sister hostel," because of some booking conflict? Anyways, they seemed to be similar-type places. Pretty/fairly clean, friendly staff, wifi, air conditioning and/or fans, so on and so forth. They don't keep your passport but just take a photo copy. Also, the guys who run both of these hostels apparently sleep in the lobby, and so there's kind of an implied curfew? (Or else you come in late and have to wake the guy up.)

VERY GOOD HOSTEL!! The staff was friendly, give us a complementary fruit and tea when arrived at a hostel. The hostel also provide breakfast. We book a tour to Halong Bay with affordable price from them. Room was OK. all electricity works. I booked 4-beds dorm, and yet its located on 6-floor :). I also booked a taxis to the airport for 6-peoples, and they gave us breads and water coz I have to leave hostel at 6 AM!

Oops, I just wrote a review of this place but mistakenly placed my review of some different hostel in Ho Chi Minh City (!) in its place. Anyways, this place was nice. It's tucked away in an alleyway and seems shady, but it's quite nice. Maria was charming and helpful, and the morning staff guys were nice as well.

The staff were so friendly, and the rooms were far superior to what I was expecting! All transportation and tours can be arranged through the hostel, which makes traveling super easy in Hanoi. Would 100% stay here again!!
