Emelio is a great guy, and very accommodating. He will definitely take care of you. A quiet hostel where you can rest up for the trek that you have planned for the next day.

The family there is the most valuable asset. They helped with everything related to information, and one main concern is to make sure that you decide for yourself the best options, giving a second opinion on everything the tour agencies will tell you. It was easy to decide doing things by myself, because Emilio knows everything about the region.

Great hostel, very good prices, huge room with the best bathroom we have had in South America, very clean!! Couldn't recommend enough. The hosts are really friendly and very helpful. Would stay here again if in the area. Beautiful hikes around!!

Its a bit far from the center, but is a 20 minutes walking distance from the Plaza de Armas, or a three soles taxi ride. Mr Emilio and his family is always up to help you and to book your tours, actually they book it with the best company in town (mony tours). The rooms are ok, but you have to ask them for the hot water, and to clean up the bathroom.

We've definitely fallen in love with Huaraz. We loved our stay at Ezama! Emilio and his family are very welcoming and helped us to plan all of our activities. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. The view from the top floor is spectacular!

Ezama is a very nice, clean and quiet place just 10 minutes by foot (or 4 soles by taxi from anywhere in town) from the main plaza. Emilio and his family are very, very friendly and helpful in every way. Emilio made us a map for our trip to laguna 69 and brought us to the bus that took us there at 6.00am. The daytrip is totally amazing. Also Emilio let us check out late in the afternoon so we could take a (nice warm!) shower before we got our bus. Laundry service & wifi is very good! Thanks E!!

Emilio and his family made our stay very welcome at Ezama which is more like a guesthouse than a backpackers. Was nice and quite so at night you could get a good sleep although the pillows are a bit hard! A short walk from the town centre so you are away from the hustle and bustle to relax after a day of hard trekking! Thanks Emilio for your wonderful hospitality!
