We loved staying here! It was in a quieter part of town, while still an easy walk to downtown. Emillio was extremely welcoming and helpfully. The room was large, clean and comfortable. It was a place that we could relax and feel at home. Affordable laundry services were also available and beautiful plants adorned the courtyard. I would definitely recommend this hostel if you are looking for a nice quiet home atmosphere to stay in.

The family who owns this hostel lives just in front. They are generous and kind and go far beyond the regular maintenance of the place to make you feel at home. The older man, Emilio, helped us decipher public transportation to get to the various hikes we found interesting. He also brought us soup one night! Its a short walk to town and there are plenty of menus nearby. The hostel doesn't have the same social atmosphere of other backpacker hubs, so if you want to chill out this is the spot.

Large spacious room and very clean when we arrived! The owner is so lovely and helpful!! Only suggestion would be to have cleaners clean bathroom every day. Really enjoyed our stay - would definitely recommend!

Nicest host out there, Emelio makes you feel right at home. His words were "my house is your house". Very helpful with the booking of treks and teaching you helpful spanish words and phrases.
