A very basic and simple, but nice and absolutely clean place to stay. The staff is just great. Friendly very helpful and keen to assist you whatever the case. Probably by far the best value in town. Special thanks and best wishes to all people from Long Guesthouse that made our stay there so nice.

A lovely place to stay in the city for first-timers and retuning-visitors. Mrs.Long and her family were really accommodating. We arrived early than expected and our room was ready for us! A nice quiet area, tucked away from the busy backpacker's stretch.

I booked this hostel based on the ratings, which I generally trust. I stayed for 2 nights in a 5 bedroom dorm and my stay at Long Guesthouse was just okay. Staff members are nice but I don't understand why reviewers are giving them such high praise. Yes, they answer all your questions, but I feel like most hostels/hotels do that, if not better. My poor rating is based on its facilities and atmosphere.

The Long's family are very nice and accommodating host. The location is walking distance to several attractions. They will try their best to make your stay in Saigon a pleasant one.

Quite possibly the friendlest staff I have ever met at a hostel. The location is just off of the backbackers street which means it's more quiet, but a quick 2 minute walk from all of the action. Dorm rooms are clean and the shower works perfectly. Plus, free towels and breakfast. Lastly, the price stands up well compared to the other hostels in the area. I HIGHLY recommend this hostel to everybody.

After reading all the reviews I thought it was going to be AMAZING, but it's not it's a simple guesthouse (not a homestay) and it's not in the best locations, doesn't have good atmosphere, it's loud at night and I would really won't recommend this place. I stayed here 3 nights, but it was not great.

The staff here were absolutely lovely. An extra lock/key for our room door would probably go down well but I wasn't personally worried about the security of my stuff since staff were always in the lobby.

The Long family was the most friendly and nice host I have ever met! They were kind and helpful on providing advice to me on travelling in Vietnam. The location is also very close to downtown. Highly recommend!

Mrs Long and her family are the best hosts in the world!! They welcome you with their heart and make your stay in Ho Chi Min much more meaningful telling true life stories and teaching you lots of history.Mrs Long helper is a sweet heart and serves us breakfast with a smile on her face.Breakfast is cooked fresh early in the morning and is included in the room fee. After a full day of walk and sightseeing I would return to the guesthouse and say: so nice to be home!
