upon arrival our booking was stuffed up - only 1 dorm bed was booked instead of 2 so a staff member had to go and beg a guest to swap with us. after 30 mins that was sorted and we got shown to our cesspool of a room - the carpet had not been vacuumed in at LEAST a month, it was disgusting. one of us got the dorm bed directly under the aircon - a buzzing hum all night. AND, the bins in the bathroom were always overflowing - FERAL. breakfast was terrible - bread & the cheapest jam possible.

This hostel is not a great hostel compared to hostels in other countries, but in comparison to other hostels in Panama City, it may be the best. It's good if you are looking for a party but also want to get some sleep. Luna Castle has a good location but is purely a party hostel-the rooms look butt-hot and the music from the bar goes through till the early morning so you will not sleep. Magnolia Inn has a good location, but there is no pool. Los Mostros is okay but perhaps your best option.

Our stay was very nice - staff was great and helpful with information when we needed it.

It was clean and in a convenient location for mostly shopping. Enough was said on my TripAdvisor account, so I don't go any further in this review.

Internet sucks here. Gorgeous big house with pool and good AC in the dorms, big kitchen and great atmosphere.

This was a really good hostel, well run with friendly staff. The kitchen is well equipped. The leaking air conditioning needs fixing. The comfy lounge chill out area is very homely.

Nice hostel, not much community spirit most people just sat playing on gadgets!

Very nice and well run hostel in Panama City. Stayed for just one night but could have easily stayed for longer. The dorms are well set up and plenty of social area to hang out and meet people. They set up some cool tours around to Colombia and have a tasty breakfast.

Great hostel, great location, dorms were good with en-suite and air con (between 9pm-8am), free breakfast, short walk to shops, Hard Rock Hotel (go there for a look for sure), staff were great, nice outdoor garden with small pool, luggage storage, good kitchen, tours desk, wifi was ok. Good times at a good place!

Air con dripped all over my bed and got my stuff wet on the floor because it hadn't been properly maintained (the hose was clogged) pardon the pun but not cool. I booked into a 4 bed room and was put in the cavelike hut by the pool with 8 beds. Wanted to just go with the flow but regret not saying anything at check in. The cave has very little room to put your gear. If you get a main building room then You will probably have a better experience.

This definitely felt like a 'party hostel' to me. I lot of sitting around drinking beer and listening tousic. My one complaint as an older hosteller is there is no quiet area to sit and write or read. Even the TV room was loud and not because of the TV. There are still some travellers that are actually here to travel and read about and see the sights, not just bar hop. I would suggesto the very helpful and friendly staff that they see if they could find a quiet space for that type of traveller.

Convenient hostel for a stopover in Panama City, quite a walk to Ciudad Vieja but with good facilities and advice from staff. Nice garden and living room to relax in but crowded dorms.

Great hostel! Nice building with very inviting and sociable common areas. Has a great tour service with people offering tours all over Panama. Great dorm with excellent beds and silent aircon. Enourmous bathroom, and lockers placed in a separate room, great for not disturbing others! Very friendly staff, and good location. Nice backyard with a pool, though the pool good benefit from being cleaned more often. Also wifi was not working a lot of the time, which was annoying. All in all excellent!

I enjoyed very much my stay there. I had such a short time for visiting Panama and if the staff was not so helpful I just couldn´t make to visit Panama City and San Blas. Thanks so much!!!
