Bayano Ecolodge

Our Ecolodge is an amazing place with an authentic design and style, made out of cabins and teepee camping. The atmosphere of nature that surrounds us and the beautiful landscapes you see here are what make us unique. This place is a full representation of what Panama is, because of everything you can see and experience here: the food, meeting our local staff, the nature and the indigenous community.

We are 1 hour and 30 minutes from Panama City, at Bayano Lake. You can come in any kind of transport to our meeting point at the Madugandi Restaurant, 100 m before the Bayano Bridge, and from there we pick you up in our boats. The restaurant is not operating at the moment, but the access point is exactly the same. We want to invite young and adult travellers who love nature and enjoy outdoor activities that are easy to do, like hiking, kayaking, fishing or birdwatching. The landscapes you can enjoy here are extremely amazing and unique.

The service you receive here is amazing and all the tours you can do will make you want to stay forever! We have common areas such as the lobby with a full kitchen and some games, and an area for bonfire and relaxation in front of Bayano Lake.

The cabins and rooms we offer are very authentic and comfortable. This place lets you feel connected to nature and still have a lot of comfort. Our staff makes sure your room is always clean and fresh for you to feel in paradise. The decoration is inspired by the culture of Panama, with a touch of minimalist style. We also decorate for couples who want a romantic touch in their rooms, free of charge.

Bayano Ecolodge Policy and Conditions:

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 15:00 (the boat to the cabins departs at 3:00 p.m.)
Check out before 14:00

Payment: the balance of your stay must be paid the day before your arrival, by bank transfer or PayPal. Nobody boards the boat to the cabins without the stay paid in full. Bookings must be made by 4:00 p.m. on the day before arrival.
Taxes included
Breakfast included. Lunch and dinner are available to buy at the community restaurant.

Bathrooms: Lake View, River View and Cozy Cabin have a private bathroom. Little Cabin, Tiny Cabin and Teepee Camping use the ecolodge's shared bathrooms.

General:
No curfew
We are pet friendly, but owners must be fully responsible for their pets.
We do not recommend this place for people with difficulties to walk or that depend on electronic devices or medical equipment to live.
We do not promote events with high consumption of alcohol or any kind of drugs.
