A great place to stay right in the city centre...surrounded by markets, shopping centres, restaurants, and more! I like this place way better than any of the places on Khao San Rd!

Lub d located at superb location with just few steps to National Stadium BTS station. In house Facilities & security were excellent. As for breakfast, should consider offer more varieties to the guests as crouisonts with banana every morning could be a lil boring though. Should also provide lock for the lockers.

Everything is great! Location is awesome, staffs are reli friendly! I'll stay in this hostel again if I visit Bangkok again

Great location, right next to Sky Train! Very clean too. Stayed at the girls wing and it was nice and calm.

I would like to express my appreciation to the team of staff working at the reception. When I arrived at the hostel in the morning, they have given me a warm welcome and I felt like I have just reached home. All staff are friendly and helpful. I was happy that I have stayed in a 5 star hostel and I will recommed my friend to this hostel if they travel to Bangkok. It just 5 mins to MBK and other shopping areas. Hope to see u guys soon.

Excellent location and facilities, the staff are happy to help in any way. Perfect for people who want to stay clear of Koh San Road. Great bathrooms, common area and internet. Only fault would be the size of the dorms. Would stay here again

Best hostel ever, hands down, and I have stayed in a bunch. Very clean, great location, excellent staff. Lub D became my family. When in Bangkok again, I will definitely not look elsewhere. The bathrooms are very clean, and the place is brand new and everything is taken care of. Prepare to get Lub D\'d

If you could provide each of your toilet cubicle a bidet same as you are having on the ground floor nearby the reception then that would be perfect. just a suggestion anyway, be right back to your hostel in a few days. Thanks!

Lub d overall was excellent. The location was super convenient right next to the Skytrain and great shopping at Siam Paragon, Discovery and MBK. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly and helpful with advice although some staff had limited English ability. Loved the outdoor deck in front for enjoying a cold beer and people watching. The only drawback was there was a large construction project next door but we had private room with AC so it wasnt a problem. Great place, location overall!

I use Lub.d when I am working in Bangkok. The double rooms are great as they have a desk, chair, safe and air con. Shared bathrooms are always spotless. Location is great too as the hostel is under the National Stadium BTS station. And across the road from the MBK centre (huge shopping centre that sells just about anything). If you like the dirt, grime, con-men and congestion of Khao San Road... this is not the hostel for you. Highly recommended.

4 Bed Mixed Dorm: Being greeted in Welsh by the Thai staff was highly unexpected, but demonstrates the effort that they go to to make their guests feel welcome. The room was spacious and included backpack-sized lockers, individual sockets and reading lights for every bed. The hostel layout was very cool with all rooms accessed from a multi-floor open-sided courtyard with benches. WiFi is fast and free. We only stayed 1 night, but we will definitely stay again when we return to Bangkok.

Very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and helpful staff. Offered great advise, precise information and easy to communicate with. Definitely a stay option in Bangkok even of not backpacking!!!!! Had a wonderful experience. Love to come back.

My third stay here and I'll be back again soon. It's not the cheapest place in Bangkok but I think its worth the money. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the dorm rooms (I've not stayed in any other) are clean with comfy beds. I always have a great night's sleep here! And its the little details like free showergel and shampoo, great showers, lockers, bedside lights and power points that make all the difference. Its in a great location for shopping and getting around town.

This is my second time staying in LubD in two years rows, one of the best ever hostel...fully recommended.... just a bit input... would u get some waterguns for hiring during songkran days? and the mat on bathroom is replaced evey other day? keep pump'in

Lub d was Awe.so.me. The staff welcomed us during new year festival with a water fight outside their lobby and it was great! we loved the atmosphere and all the extra perks for backpackers (can check out early, leave your stuff stored, and take showers after you've checked out). Great place and amazing people!
