Lub d Bangkok Siam Square Reviews

Not what I expected for a hostel - clean environment, cheerful and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and great location. Only issue I had was the mosquitoes in the room but otherwise, a great stay. I'm definitely coming back here if I return to Bangkok!

The staff were very helpful and always smiling. That is always appreciated when you are travelling around and looking forward to a friendly place to rest. Thank you all ;)

Helpful and friendly front desk and cleaning staff. All employees work hard and together as a team. It makes the attitude and atmosphere of the place very pleasant.

Great hostel in bangkok..very near to some big malls in bangkok such as siam paragon, siam center, siam discovery, near to pratunam area and central world mall too..BTS National Stadium is exactly in front of the hostel..clean place and good bathroom. But this place doesnt provide any free breakfast. But i really would like to stay at this hostel again if i come back to bangkok!

We really liked the place, our beds were clean and tidy, big lockers, staff was really helpful and friendly. Really good atmosphere.

Overall a very pleasant experience. I love the sockets and storage place in each bed space. Just that the wifi is a bit weak in the bedroom.

no doubt that it is super-awesome hostel ever in my life staffs were never hesitate to help me even i asked them a lot and is located in so-great area, huge shopping centers are about 4minutes walk a way if you are considering where to stay in Bangkok, i highly recommend you to stay at Lubd !

Good location, right in front of National Stadium BTS station.

Fantastic hostel with great staff. Rooms are spotless and well furnished, with wifi access everywhere. You can get food/drinks in the hostel and it has a 24 hour reception. Easily accessible from the airport via the bts train system. A bit away from the grand palace and Wat Pho areas, but close to Siam square. Stayed here a second time when I was back in Bangkok and would recommend.

The lockers are too small to fit in a rucksack and given that there isn't much floor space and that I had a top bunk, it was a bit inconvenient.

2nd time staying here, first time was in a private double with ensuite, this time in a 4 bed mixed dorm. toilets are extremely clean, as are the rooms, for a dorm; love that they provide shampoo & soap! only comment would be that the knob (this metal stick thing) on the toilet and shower doors keep falling out, and the hot water wasn't really working during my stay. but overall the people are nice and i love the location right below the national stadium BTS!

great hostel if you want to shop in Siam Square otherwise it's a bit far from the old town / koh san / temples etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms and shared bathrooms are really clean!! it's a little more pricey than others but you get what you pay for.

Wifi was abit unstable in the rooms..

I stayed in Lub D for 5 days 4 nights (23 - 27 May 2013), the hot water shower only available on the first day and half of the second day. Start from 24 May 2013 night, there how water shower was not available until the day i checked out and there is no action taken to fix this problem.

As a single traveler, I really felt safe here as they had a femalre dorm, and also there were someone available at all times at the reception. The close proximity fo the BTS station is also a huge plus! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Air conditioning were excellent too.
