Absolutely brilliant - this place is clean, secure and offers lots of amenities like personal light/power points, washing machines/drying racks, computers, wifi, chilled out vibe and great location. Only feedback for improvement is that the lockers need to be oiled so they're not so loud... Best of all the staff are incredibly helpful and kind...in particular, Patrick, a lovely and knowledgable guy who went out of his way to be friendly and make me feel welcome! Thanks, Lub d, I'll be back!

Yess this place is more expensive for dorms but the location and the staff make the difference. Staff was really helpfull and so nice. Dorm are well done and a lot of place in common areas. I likethe fact that we can do our own laundry. If you need to shop its the best neigbourhood. Otherwise, the skytrain can carry you almomst everywhere.

I think staying at Lub d is like getting more than what I'm paying for. Totally a chic and hip environment. Secure, friendly staff, anything a tourist would enjoy at a hostel.

Enjoyed our stay in LubD. Nice comfortable hostel. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms and hot water. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast available downstairs. Right next to train station and close to shops. My only complaint is that we were only given a thin blanket, I would have preferred proper bedding.

Location is amazing if you don't want to stay near Khao San. In fancy shopping district with excellent transport connections to new Bangkok, airport, etc. great for shopping. You can definitely find cheaper accomodation but in terms of facilities and attention to detail this is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. I'm a big fan of this new style of hostel - it's a great way to have comfortable accomodations while still being able to meet other travellers. Not a huge party place.

This place is a great value in Siam Square for young travelers. Convenient location on busy street, skytrain and bus nearby, but quiet inside. Pricey for a hostel, but you get what you pay for - it's modern, clean, has fast-working AC. Good security 24/7, though the main doors did have a tendency to stay open. They could stand to add eggs to the breakfast menu. Free wifi worked pretty well and common computers available too. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Perfect location, just 1 minute away from MRT station, room is very clean. The only thing brother me was too many mosquitoes. I literally had over 10 bites on my legs after a night.

Nice hostel in a location that is great if you've come to BKK to shop! Also ridiculously close to the Sky Train. A little pricey for a dorm bed but hostel was very clean for the most part. The free luggage storage was a lifesaver. They need a "give away" shelf in the bathrooms to go with their "keep" shelf - really no need for a "keep" shelf, people should just bring their toiletries back to their room. Also, a full length mirror in the dorm rooms would be good touch, but these are not drawbacks

Got the double deluxe room and the hose beside the water closet is missing. There is also a leak coming from the lavatory. But overall, Lubd is an excellent place to stay for young travellers. Rooms are regulary fixed and towels regulary changed. The atmosphere of the place is very hip and young. The staff are also very accomodating and friendly. The location is also perfect.

Really good location - right under the BTS stop. Getting to the Grand Palace or Khao San Rd area during busy periods you'd have to haggle with taxis which could be annoying (not that this is the hostel's fault - but something to consider if you see yourself spending a lot of your days in that part of town) Staff were great - really helpful. Rooms and shared bathroom were clean. Lobby had a nice relaxed feel, great for meeting other travelers. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

The hostel is convenient for those who want to shopping. A lot of shopping malls in the area. Easy to take Public transportation. The Best part is a room that you can leave your stuff for 3 months (for free!!!!). Perfect for those folks who wants to travel around southeast Asia, going back to take the flight home. I left some stuff there and could travel to North's Thailand and Laos lighter!!! Perfect!
