Got the double deluxe room and the hose beside the water closet is missing. There is also a leak coming from the lavatory. But overall, Lubd is an excellent place to stay for young travellers. Rooms are regulary fixed and towels regulary changed. The atmosphere of the place is very hip and young. The staff are also very accomodating and friendly. The location is also perfect.

The hostel is convenient for those who want to shopping. A lot of shopping malls in the area. Easy to take Public transportation. The Best part is a room that you can leave your stuff for 3 months (for free!!!!). Perfect for those folks who wants to travel around southeast Asia, going back to take the flight home. I left some stuff there and could travel to North's Thailand and Laos lighter!!! Perfect!

Really good location - right under the BTS stop. Getting to the Grand Palace or Khao San Rd area during busy periods you'd have to haggle with taxis which could be annoying (not that this is the hostel's fault - but something to consider if you see yourself spending a lot of your days in that part of town) Staff were great - really helpful. Rooms and shared bathroom were clean. Lobby had a nice relaxed feel, great for meeting other travelers. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

In January we spent severall days @Lub'd Siam Square. A good place to stay. We liked it a lot. So much that we stayed there twice when we visited Bangkok for the second time.

Good location if you are planning to shop. The internet is terrible and I think the hostel is expensive for what they offer.

Everything is great. However, the stuff isn't that friendly when dealing with the Asian costumer. Especially those who is not a native English speaker.

If you go to Bangkok, stay at Lub D siam square or Silom. Both hostels are worldclass and you would be a fool not to stay at one of these hostels! :D

Well designed Hostel right at the end of the sky train - more a shoping area (MBK shopping, Siam Square shopping, Art museum, national stadium).

Great hostel with friendly staff and a good location right near the national stadium sky train station. I struggled with jet lag after landing and the fact that there is always someone on the desk 24hrs a day really helped. Also good if you're plane lands in the middle of the night. Great showers too. Best I've had so far.
