This is "the" party hostal to stay at in CV. Big, comfy beds with personal fans, privacy curtains and lots of storage room. Great atmosphere, however I was a bit worried about leaving my bags there as the staff hands the keys to the closet off to anyone and they went missing a lot. There is a travel desk to help book your other adventures as well. The noise from the bar didn't bother me but it may bother others. On a busy corner so lots of street noise as well. Would stay again.
Loved our time here. The free pancakes were a great touch. Only 'complaint' would be that the common area furniture was very run down, so not very comfortable to accommodate how many people relaxed in there. You should advertise about the bar connected to the building, because that was awesome! Thanks for all the travel help too.
Beautiful ocean views from room. Walking distance to nice sites, Canal Museum, grocery store, etc. VERY hot and weak fan over bed, so be aware of that. I probably slept two hours because I was so warm and since the windows are open to catch the breeze, you hear all the street partying. Bring earplugs. Definitely a party atmosphere, cool bar downstairs. I only had a day/one night stay but I'm glad it was just the single night because I barely slept. Hot and loud but reasonable for the price.
Great atmosphere in a sweet location. Could use some more lockers but other than that it was great.
Very friendly and helpful staff! Loved it even for just one night.
Really nice hostel with a cool atmosphere. The place is very old but so charming and the location is perfect if you wanna check out the old part of the City (which is definitely the most interesting!) The bar is quite nice and you get the opportunity to meet new people. We specially really loved the free pancake-breakfast! Only minus is that there's only fans in some of the dorms, and it's SO HOT at night.. Unfortunately we ended up moving to another hostel because we couldn't sleep in the heat.
Really nice hostel, good atmosphere and many facilities (like free bike rental and a cinema). Plus the pancakes in the mornings are a total plus!!
Great people at the front desk. Loved the breakfast and location.
Good location in old town. Dorms are large with own curtain and power points. Free pancakes.

The hostel itself is beautiful and the facilities are excellent. It was let down because the staff didn't even have time to show us where the room or anything else was and the bars drinks seemed so diluted I'm not sure there was alcohol in them.... Stunning building though and the pool and rooftop terrace (when you're allowed up there) are a nice touch.
Great dorm overlooking the ocean and the old town, amazing pancake breakfast! Bar was closed while I was there but looked nice, good common areas and really helpful staff!
Really loved my stay here, so much that I ended up postponing leaving for 3 or 4 days - probably one of the longest times I've ever spent in a hostel. Great place to meet fun travelers, and the location within Casco Viejo was wonderful. I would highly recommend taking advantage of the free bike rentals they offer. The bar below offers happy hour beers for 50 cents - what more do you need? Ocean front view is sweet, but not all ocean front rooms are equal. Ask to see your room first if possible
I have stayed at many hostels and this is by far the best! The staff is very nice, it's in a great location, and the accommodations were perfect. I recommend Luna's Castle highly!

great place for travellers going through panama city. Be cautious of information from staff as i received multiple pieces of wrong information regarding the busses from albrook. otherwise it was a great experience and nice place!
Great staff who were very helpful. A good place to stay if you are traveling solo because it is easy to make friends. Pay the extra dollar for the room with windows (ocean view), the cheap rooms have no windows and can be pretty miserable.
EPIC. As far as hostels go, this is the ultimate Casco establishment. Had the best time!

A great backpacking hostel. Location gives a great view of Panama City skyline, lively bar downstairs, loads of communal areas, free pancake breakfast. Only negative point to make is it is VERY loud at night up to around 3am whichever room you are staying in the hostel. Overall a great hostel.
Excellent sociable party hostel, great facilities, staff helpful when present (seem to have some morning punctuality problems), large comfy beds in a variety of spacious dorms with excellent bag storage, the dorms with external windows are bright, cool and excellent value, however dorm 1 (without external windows) is a dark, loud sweatbox. However there is a high guest turnover so moving beds isn't too much of a problem. Kitchen excellent.
Brilliant social hostel. Difficult to sleep at night with the loud bar below the hostel. Great atmosphere at the hostel. Good location.
This was a really cool hostel in the old town close to big supermarket, cheap food and close to bars as well. Lots of space to hang out on comfortable couches and a funky bar downstairs with cheap happy hour! The rooms are super spacious and a beautiful view towards the city. Recommended!
