I enjoyed my time in the hostel. However it was really bad that we have to pay to get a towel. Even in hostels in south america they lend you a towel for free..
Really good location and facilites, almost like a hotel. We were just disappointed because on saturday night hostel bar was really unpleasantly closed by the waiter without further explanation at 10.15 p.m and we couldn't even order a drink, not even to take out. The main problem with the rooms is LACK OF ELECTRO PLUGGERS... It is nice that there are vanding machines all over the ohostel - with water, ice cream and other goodies and are not expensive.
No kitchen to cook in this hostel and the price of the food on offer is not very student friendly. Good sized rooms and bathrooms and very close to city centre.
A really nice hostel in a beautiful spot. The staff were friendly, the evening meal was great and good value and the whole place was clean. Wifi didn't reach reliably to the bedroom but was very good in the communal areas. Number 23 is also a good bus to get to and from the station and involves a less steep walk from the bus stop.
The location was excellent, 10min walk to the city centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend if on a tight budget.

Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Average breakfast but it's free. Nice and quiet hostel.
Great hostel situated close to the old city centre, but a bit far from the train station. The meals are excellent. The only downside is that the wifi did not reach our room.
For the most part, everything was pretty standard. Showers worked via a push knob that needed to be pressed every 15-20 seconds which was annoying. The free breakfast is nice enough as well. This hostel is located well below the city center so if you aren't up for the hike back up, you can arrange a shuttle bus for a couple of euro one way which is well worth it. Make sure you tell the front desk in advance though as the driver isn't always around or available.
This is a hotel not a hostel, there is no atmosphere for solo traveler. for group of people gonna be nice. and this city it's boring nothing to do there old people and families. I booked for 2 nights then spent just one night. Totally I don't recommend this country.
Great location and breakfast included. The restaurant "melting pot "is well recommended. Have a very nice stay there.
This hostel is a safe bet when visiting Luxembourg. It was very clean, the location was good, the beds were sturdy and not those squeaky kinds which seem to be falling apart any second. It wasn't very cozy though, it's a big place with lots of groups etc. Wifi worked only in the lobby. There's no shops nearby, but they have their own restaurant, which also served decent breakfast (cereal, bread rolls, coffee and juice) for free.
The reception and bar staff were lovely. They all out up with me speaking English to them. The hostel was very nice and clean with good lockers in the room. There was no kitchen, but they offered reasonably priced meals and drinks.
Everything was just fine, I would recommend it,
Lovely location. Meals at the cafeteria were delicious. Rooms were spacious. Probably can add more bathrooms.

This is no hostel for people travelling solo, you won't find any atmosphere here neither you will have a good time getting in touch with other people since this "hostel" is more a hotel and defitinely more for families than for people who love to travel, see new things and meet new people. So if you go for a weekend with friends / family it's ok (ok, not good...) but if you travel alone and want to meet new people stay very far from this hostel. And the worst about Cleanliess; The showers
Very nice hostel, good breakfast in the morning. Got upgraded to a 4 person dorm from a 6 person. Nice to have a bathroom in the room and comfy beds. Only bad thing was having to push a button for the shower and it only turns on for about 30 seconds at a time
The hostel is located near the Casemates. The old town is not far away. The train station is quite far away. If you do not want to walk to the hostel (which I recommend), you can take a bus. Because I'm member of Youth Hostelling International I got 3€ discount. For 10.90€ you get a decent 3-course dinner (soup, main cource, dessert); as a member you get 1€ discount. In comparison to the prices in Luxembourg, this is a fair price. The bath was clean and lockers are available in the room.
Your staff was very kind to the guest. And the luggage box was very convinent for me. Thank you!
We were a family of 6 people. All adults. We loved our stay. Would do it again:)
