A bit too far from city, clean and comfortable rooms

Good hostel, I was there on a weekday and it was very calm. However, it's not very easy to find at night. Ask the bus driver for directions, once you know where to go it's very easy.

Excellent attitude through the phone

Don't try to find this hostel at night....

Generally a reasonable hostel however it seemed slighly below the standard that I have come to expect from HI hostels.

In this hostel you get great value for money. Definitely one of the cleanest hostels I've stayed in, great beds (wooden, so no creaking, yay!), great common room, free wi-fi, great choice of meals in the restaurant (although they do get kinda upset if you arrive close to the end of the lunch time...). Toilets are ok, but showers are not very practical.. although I guess that's something you should count on in hostels. But all on all, a great place and I would definitely recommend it!

beautiful hostel - all looked quite new, very clean and well maintained; staff were helpful and friendly

Rooms were really clean and comfortable, and the hostel was a great base from which to explore the city. I stayed for only a night, and felt that the check out time of 10am was a little early.

Good restaurant, standard rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Just no social atmosphere while i was there.

Great facilities but has no atmosphere as it's used by big groups like schools and stuff

Despite its giant size, the hostel retains a comfortable environment and has a great lounge/restaurant area for meeting people. The staff weren't the most warm and welcoming and didn't engage in conversation. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the bathrooms which are inside the rooms were clean as well. It's location is a little inconvenient, located at the bottom of a hill. However, if you mind the exercise, the bus stops right at the top. I definitely recommend this hostel.

The Luxembourg City Hostel is a must if you are planning on staying in a hostel in the capital. The hostel is in a great location - a short walk will get you to everywhere you'd want to go! Plus my friend and I were able to meet some great fellow hostelers so for what you pay you're going to get a really sweet deal! Again I just want to say you shouldn't have any doubts about stay here - by far one of the best hostels I've stayed at.

It's a big place, classic youth hostel, not extremely personal but with some great and helpful staff, feels very safe, good facilities, location is within walking distance from main attractions (lots of up- and downhill though as always in Lux). Would definitely go again, definitely an easy place.

The hostel is situated in an excellent place, deep in the valley. It's very quiet here and the environment is also nice.

one of the secured doors (stairs to the right of the welcome desk) is broken so anyone can get in. at night people who come in late slam the doors because they are very heavy, waking people up. food and beverages : good value for money.

Good location and amentaties. Not much of a vibe as it seems it's full of bus tours/groups etc so no activities planned which is a shame for so travellers. My first encounter with staff was quite poor as they seem less than interested in pointing out places to go on map etc but the same person was much nicer the other times I asked. Must of been having a bad moment. Would probably stay again.

It hasn't a guest kitchen, nor wifi in the rooms (just in common areas). On the other side, breakfast is great, and it has high quality equipment and instalations. They also provide lockers and have key cards. It is located downhill, but close to Bock, Corniche, city center and fort Thungen/Mudam/Kirchberg quarter. Globally, I think it is a great accomodation option.

Very nice hostel. As far as I could tell, it's the only hostel in Lux City. So you don't have a lot of choice (unless you want to spend a ton of money in a hotel), but it just works. Close to the center. Staff is helpful. People are nice. Def recommend it to anyone traveling through Luxembourg.

The hostel is spacious and comfy, a little bit far from the city center but still within walking distance. Common areas are clean but rooms don’t get cleaned after every guest checks out, so if u are the last one to leave u will have to clean. Another thing is that prices in the cafeteria are not so accessible, downtown prices and hostel’s are basically the same. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but like in every hostel u never know who your next bed neighbor is going to be like … or sound like.

Overpriced and down a steep hill for exercise, but overall good
