Everything was super great, clean, worth every penny. Participate in the free walking tour!! It's fantastic!!

Overall it is a really nice hostel for a couple of nights stay. I felt safe in my room, which is important as a solo female traveller. All facilities are clean and modern and you have everything you need. I found the staff who checked me in quite unhelpful - I didn't find out what facilities were available until I was leaving but all other encounters with other staff were satisfactory.

We didn't really spend that much time in the hostel but did get upgraded from a 10-bed to 6-bed for free, while the room was very clean and the hostel itself was well within walking distance to the city centre. Would highly recommend!

Nice place, but in a weird location. Not central at all, had to take a tram that sometimes didn't come for 20 minutes. Staff were nice. Kind of sanitized atmosphere - big empty hallways, not sure where all the people were. Girls in my room were silent and not really up for socializing. It was cheap, clean, and secure, so can't really complain.

Was pretty surprised by the level of quality. Not necessarily cheap, but it's Brussels so everything is expensive already.

All very nice. No complaints except that the breakfast they offer is overpriced.

Really nice, clean, buzzing hostel. The staff were welcoming and keen to help. It is a very short walk to the center of town so a good location.

Worth the money. It's a true high class hostel. Feels like staying in a 4 star hotel

Huge ancient brewery, beautiful, distuinguished. Too hot to sleep on upper beds. Nice surroundings.

After finding the hostel its total feel is very clean and tidy, plus you can enjoy wifi from your room if you wish (which in comparison to other hostels is a bonus!) The walk into town is only about 10 minutes, but in the rain this can feel like forever. Overall, a good hostel. I would return.

Lots of families and travelers of all kinds. Missing the backpacker atmosphere completely. Rooms are really clean and nice. Bar downstairs offering Belgian beer. Would stay here again (if couldn't find a backpacker hostel).

Nice short stay, staff were more than helpful

91%

Everything was excellent (great facility, helpful and friendly staff up front, good location) except the cleaning staff in the morning. Came in at 10:00 while three of us were still sleeping and were working and talking very loudly with no consideration for us. I've never experienced that in a hostel before. One in our room said it had happened every morning. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay.

I was expecting a smaller youth hostel environment, so I was a little disappointed to walk into a hotel-like atmosphere. Also, the area right around the Meninger isn't great. Otherwise, the staff was helpful and friendly, inside the Meninger was very clean, and the walk to downtown Brussels isn't long at all.

Very clean, the staff is nice, the location is good.

Not a good place to meet people. There were kids running around and you don't feel like the atmosphere is good for drinking. The 2nd floor (catering area) was very hot. I stayed at a 6-bed female dorm, the beds are packed too closely that I found it hard to make my bed. It is clean though and shower was good.
