Not great for meeting fellow travelers since this is a hotel, not really a hostel. Very clean. Big windows in room. NO LOCKERS IN THE ROOMS.
This was a really nice hostel/hotel. It definitely felt more like a hotel set up, however it was still easy to meet people in the kitchen (which was well equipped). The rooms were really spacious, new and clean, and the bathrooms were good too. Very close to altona station which made to easy to get around, and also there were bars and places to eat all around. Recommended!
This hostel was very well kept, clean and inviting. Nice kitchen to cook and eat breakfast. Close to a large train station and bus lines.
The location is good - it's a really short walk from a transport interchange, shops and supermarkets and a 15min train from the centre. The wifi works throughout the hostel and the kitchen is sizeable and well equipped. However, if you're looking to meet people, there isn't really a common room.
Nice place to stay in Hambourg. The rooms are nice and spacious! You can find anything that you need in the Hostel (kitchen, wi-fi, information etc). It feels more like an hotel, but it's totally fine ! You can meet people in the kitchen and discuss.
Excellent breakfast! Short metro ride to Hamburg and St. Pauli. Very clean, plenty of storage, friendly atmosphere.
It is definitely one of the best hostels I have stayed in. The staff were very happy hosts for 18 Scottish blokes on a stag, and the price was unbeatable. Really good experience and would definitely go back.

Good hostel, although the size of it causes the atmosphere to be more similar to that of a hotel. Value was decent, although breakfast wasn't included. Just stayed one night to catch an early train. My room was weird as there was a couple sharing a double bed and bunk beds otherwise.
Everything was very clean. The hostel is far from the downtown area, but it is very close to the train station that takes you downtown which is pretty convenient.
No rooms assigned. finding a bed is a free for all.My room, all10 lockers had been broken into and were unusable. drunks outside till 5.30 am and at 6 am the front desk girl comes in with a guest whos bed was being used by someone else. After being basically told too bad, I got up packed my bags and told him to use my bed. I paid for two days stayed one restless night and left without repay to Frankfurt. The downstairs safes have 2 dollar locks and are out of sight of reception. Security is ZERO
The room we've stayed in was very spacious with a nice bathroom. The hostel is close to the station, close to some restaurants and shops. If you feel like going to the city center you gonna have to take a train to there, but its like only 10 minutes away. Staff were helpful and the vibe is okay. I would say more for family than young people.
It's a bit of a walk away from things, but definitely manageable. I would recommend.
Beds and blankets are amazingly comfortable. The location is nice and quiet, so you can get a good sleep. The breakfast is a good value for money.
Yes I stayed in the hostel for two nights. I was very disappointed in the hostel as they stuffed up my booking. Which was sorted after a long wait in reception. The wifi was shockingly unreliable. The location was great. The staff were very unhelpful.
The locker available on my room was broken and I had to use one near the reception, a little bit annoying, but besides that everything was really good. I recommend it.
Good location in a very safe area. Well kept with a helpful staff. More like a shared-room hotel than a hostel, and location is a bit far to walk downtown; however the harbour is easily reached by train. Solid experience.
This place is more like a hotel than a hostel.
This hostel is advertised as being city centre, however you have to get a train to it from the city centre, this I found disappointing. Lockers are also advertised, however they are also not available in all rooms, the staff were helpful when I explained I was expecting a locker and they changed my room with no problem. It was ok, but more a hotel than a hostel, with very little atmosphere, I would not choose to stay there again.
It's not as central as advertised. It's in the center of Altona, near the Altona Hbf/train station, which is a long walk from the main Hbf/ the actual city center. Still, it's a cool neighborhood. Just check a map before you book.
