Really great place to stay apart from its a little bit further out, not a long walk but not city Centre! The quality of the hostel made up for it. Would definitely stay there again, it was really nice.
Great guest kitchen. Staff very friendly and helpful. 9 Bed Dorm very spacious with separate toilet and bathroom which is great when there are so many people in the room! Comfortable beds. Accommodation can get very pricey in Salzburg but this is definitely value for money. It's about a 20min walk into the old town but if it is raining (like it did the whole weekend we stayed) then the bus stop is really close and reasonable as well. Overall great stay here.
AMAZING hostel that just looks like a hotel where you share rooms. Not right in city center, but 20-30 min walk from there, which is not a concern. Good bar and excellent atmosphere, the best facilities. Totally rocmmended.
This is hostel is really worth recommending! I stayed in a 6female dorm and the beds were new and comfy. The room was spacious and the bathrooms were very clean! The breakfest is very rich and you will definitely find everything you need although you have to pay extra 6euros each day. The hostel is located about 20-25 minutes walking from the centre but I didn't mind taking the extra walk, there is always a bus nearby if you don't want to walk. Will be coming back there!
The dorm was really clean, and having a separate bathroom and shower was so nice! The staff was extremely nice and helpful, and we had a nice stay at the hotel.
Clean and modern. But more of a hotel that also has dorm rooms, so a bit impersonal, lacks atmosphere. Staff friendly and helpful. Great communal kitchen. Would stay there again.
It seemed like a really new hostel. The had shower and bathrooms separate but still in side the bed room which was really nice. they had a good kitchen lots of space to chill out. A tv and other things to do I really enjoyed my stay there. The staff was very helpful. everything was nice and clean to.
I liked everything, except for the location and staff. Hostel is a bit far from the citycentre, at least a 20-25 walk. Other thing is that some of the staff were a bit rude. Two times i heard a whatever and one time the guy said "customers king, or something". That made me uncomfortable because i wasnt asking all that much. Plus: Great showers and bathroom, and rooms are great aswel.
Great place to stay with the family: excellent family rooms and kitchen very useful for quick economic meals

Great place in general except far from the train station - 25 minutes walk ish. Or you can bus but don't be without a bus ticket because you can be fined.
Very nice room in a hotel and lovely and spacious for a 9 person room. Has a quiet atmosphere so not a party hostel but perfect for us who wanted to sleep well and explore during the day
I was traveling with 3 lads of 18,23,25 I am double that age and then some this was my first hostel experience. The staff especially Julia, Marcus
Great facilities and breakfast, but unfortunately the hostel was at least 20 minutes walking distance from the city - or a few minutes on the bus.
Great hostel/hotel with really good rooms. Comfortable beds. Very clean and modern. Small communal kitchen, sitting area and bar downstairs. Unfortunately would need to take a 10min bus trip from the main train station if you have luggage. Otherwise fantastic. Would stay there again.
Everything was good, but when I got a change, I didn't get change. But she told me she gave me money. She made me lier! I was really upset, but I had company with me. So I forgave a little money. I don't want to meet staff like her!
4th Meininger I've stayed at, keep coming back because I know it'll be clean, safe, well located and professional and the only thing you sometimes sacrifice is the atmosphere. Here there was a bar and a decent common room that played Sound of Music nightly. Staff were great and accommodating. I loved Salzburg so much I kept extending my stay a day at a time so had to change rooms, every morning I'd go to reception to store my bags but they would always have my new room available all ready.
Good hostel, didn't mind the walk into the city only ten mins. Kitchen is small though and crowded. Also lockers in room didn't actually work which was bad. But otherwise good hostel comfy beds too!
they are a hostel/hotel combination, with a neat set up the dorm was comfy and the social area nice, now let's talk about the not so good features, the parking mean 11 extra euros per day the kitchen/laundry (1 washer 1 dryer) are mix together on the same room and hard to get your stuff on it, we end up walking to the store next door to get some "clothing supplies" and finally add another 5.9 euros for breakfast if you are expecting to have theirs, so expect a more hotel alike experience.
The best hostel my whole trip. Clean, friendly and the best place for a rest
Really nice place! It's really a hotel with dorm beds and that shows in amazing and clean rooms with a hair dryer, lockers, and the wifi works everywhere. It's close to the city center by bus. Really wonderful!
