One of the best hostels I've stayed at so far.

The dorm is very nice, a stable bunk bed and a twin. The showers were clean and enough space. The very nice impression of the place is owing to the nice staffs (especially Nikola!!) and the brightness of the building. The guest kitchen has a fridge, stove, washing machines, and cutleries, and the lobby is big and nice. They have good access to the places to see, and the surroundings of the place is nice and pretty as well. Not much to complain! I would definitely recommend!!

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at a Meninger hotel - very good value and positive experience. I was impressed that the cleanliness of the rooms, the furniture was updated, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom had a hairdryer and even tissues - like a hotel. One thing I didn't like and I think they need to change is that every morning around 8am the maids check on the rooms and slam the doors - I heard doors slamming on my floor, the floors above and below me for like 45 minutes.

I stayed two nights in the hostel, in a dorm room. It was easy to find, the staff is really smiling and helpful, speak excellent English. The room was clean and prepared by the time I arrived, could lock my things into a box under the bed, so I felt it safe. I also ordered breakfast which was a bit average for me, but totally enough:). I would recommend this hostel to anyone who needs a cheap but good stay in Vienna.

Meiniger is more like hotel than a hostel. My room was nice but the bathroom wasn't very clean. Toilet and sinks were a bit dirty but otherwise the room was clean.

Great place to stay, clean, big, the facilities were great than other hostel. The only problem is wifi only on the Lobby and you have to pay for wifi on your room, but help you to know people

Very clean, hotel-style hostel. We had been hosteling so were used to paying much less and getting great wireless and other free features, so $50 a night, unreliable wireless and only in the lobby was frustrating, but other wise it's a very easy stay, clean, nice rooms, washroom toilet. Nice that there was body wash in the showers. And you have to make your own bed? Little strange.

very nice and comfortable, towards the hotel end of hostels, but sleeping in a dorm. the communal kitchen was small and they appear to be catering more towards customers who will eat in the buffet. lots of school groups staying there. very clean dorm and bathroom etc

The staff is excellent, people very friendly and responsible. They help us to organize our local trips... I continue to salzburg with the same hotel, because I felt with warm staff. I prefer my stance in Wien. In Salzburg the people are friendly too, but I was sharing accomodation and the experience was different. The beds are very close and only we have one bath.

All and all I had a great stay, I was in a 4 bed female dorm and i was the only one in there which was a nice treat. The front desk staff, in particular the African gentleman were lovely. I can't fault the place. However there were no lockers in the rooms. But they were ultra-clean!

Super clean and super fine hostel for its facilities. The location is not in the heart of Vienna. However, it wasn't that far by metro and for me It was not problem to walk to the city center as well for I loved walking across the bridge on the canal. Just like every comment previously written, it is more like a hotel rather than a hostel. Every single facility is pretty good so I liked staying there very much. HOWEVER, you should pay if you want to use internet in your room. :(

I have been in a few Meininger: London and Munich and the experience has been always excellent. Very new hostel, well run, very clean, many services. Very recommended. However bear in mind that the breakfast is not included.

Hostel is clean and quiet. However, the localization is not that close to the center, count at least 15 minutes to join the center. Also, the breakfast is clearly overrated (price is expensive for what you get).
