There were no hot water, no meal, the bed was too small for me, the locker was broken and I was cold (no air con). I stayed only one night because a hot shower is really necessary when it is 5 degre Celsius outside. I had to pay an additional 13RMB because I stayed only one night whereas I had biiked for two nights whereas the hostel was empty.

The guy on the desk who could speak english wasn't the most helpful but the girl who couldn't speak any English did her best to help with everything. No central heating, it's not a problem as long as you are prepared, pretty basic, the reception/common room closes really early which can a bit of a problem as you have to sit in the cold near the pool table. Pretty descent otherwise, beds are quite hard.

My biggest complaint about MIGU is that there was no central heating system. When you're up in the mountains in late October this is problematic as it gets quite cold at night. There were also no heated blankets and no way to get more regular blankets. The best thing I can say about the hostel is that it was clean.

We stayed only one night and were willing to pay an administration fee just to get to another place for the next night. Staff were indifferent and didn't care much that they put one man in a dorm of 5 women and one woman in another dorm with 5 men.

Staff there is very warm-hearted. Room is big, but somehow humid. Cleanliness is not very satisfactory, but the staff agreed to change sheet for me. It is close to Jiuzhaigou Park and shuttle bus center. It is convenient that we can borrow extension cord from the receptionist.

wasn't as bad as all the reviews on hostelworld.com indicated! prior to arrival I emailed the hostel to get a confirmation that they had received my booking but got no reply not even an automatic confirmation from them. I got a discount on the price indicated on hostel world because I had a YHA card. The room, shower and toilets were clean. Internet didn't extend to the rooms and plug sockets in room looked dangerous. PS their English is limited so I had to speak to them in Mandarin!!!

Staff was either asleep or not present. Poor sevice, and no food. The cook was gone. This place may work best for Chinese tourists only.
