The hostel is certainly not the cleanest or most modern, but it is only a ten minute walk from the Jiuzhai National Park entrance. Quite a good deal. Note that the staff speaks rather limited English.

No hot water in a weather of snow!!! - Before we came we asked about hot water and they promiss it will be!! No english speeking

During our stay, the rooms were freezing and the bathroom sinks only had ice cold water. The showers did not always have hot water in the morning. There was no hot water for us to drink either. A cup of tea cost 12RMB. The facilities were falling apart and the room felt like a jail cell with no windows. We had a miserable experience.
