Great place right by the beach - perfect to relax and enjoy the (nice and clean) beach. Comfortable bungalows and the owners made us feel very welcome. We extended our stay because we liked it so much.

We booked 3 nights and ended up staying 7. I highly recommend this place, the beach is the best in the area (much better than Mancora or Los Organos). If you can, book the bungalow by the sea, it's the nicest one as the other ones can get a bit "stuffed" at night... making it harder to sleep well. Also be aware that to get to town will cost you 15 soles one way so it's quite pricey when you need to go get money or want to experience other restaurants.

Perfect place for amazing and quiet beach, although no supermarket around (one hour walk). Restaurant at Marcilia is overpriced, simple but of good quality. For food you have to be a little patient. Owners however are really friendly, place is super clean and they are willing to think along planning your day. Definatelly worth a stay!

Right on the beach, amazing to go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the waves.Owners are very helpful and speak very good English. Some of the bungalows had building work going on.The food is very good but you can wait a while for your food, our first night we waited about 2 hours after ordering our food, and there was only 3 other people there. The place is still under construction,to get to the beach we had to dodge a digger and building materials. When it's finished the place will be amazing.

Dear Guest Thanks for your comment. We apologize you had to wait long for the food, Marcial & I prepair the food for all our guests. That night I was alone because Marcial was in the city for medical treatments. We always advice when food is going to take a while, and I did it, sorry for the inconvenience, at least we hope it was worth waiting. By the way the bungalow that was under constrution now is ready and has an spectacular ocean view from the outside deck. Thank you once again. M&C

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. You sleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. You wake to delicious breakfasts with good coffee. The food is excellent. It was our first exposure to Peruvian food and what an introduction it was. We highly recommend the quiet high quality establishment! We were even lucky enough to see a few late December wales go splashing south from the hostel property!

We were looking for a relaxing weekend and Marcial and Cecilia had exactly what we need. The bungalows are in Vilchayito which is a very quite town (not like Mancora). The bungalow in the beach is actually in the sand and is like having a private beach. You can even sleep in the beach looking at the stars... We'll definitelly come back if we go again to Mancora

Beautiful and peaceful.

The owner was fantastic! Very accommodating and helpful. We stayed in the superior room and we basically had the beach to ourselves! The room included a small outdoor kitchen, which was great, and the food made by the owner's wife was excellent! If you want a quiet, peaceful stay then this is your best bet! Felt very safe as well.
