We had made a reservation in this hostel and arrived at 2AM. When we got there, the hostel was closed. There was a paper on the door saying it was closed due to maintenance, and you could go to their other hotel (which was 10min walking again back in the direction you came from). It would have been nice if they had emailed you this in advance. Arriving at their other hostel, there was no kitchen to use and there were no lockers. The staff did not apologise at all.

We booked marcopolo inn hostel but due to rennovation they rebooked us to marco polo suites hotel. It was a better room for the same price which was nice, but as it was a hotel there wasnt a kitchen.. Very friendly staff!

A nice hostel, a little remote from the centre but very quiet, providing consistent breakfast and with a helpful and very friendly staff.

VERY friendly and helpful staff (especially Cecilia)! Quiet hostel away from the main town centre (10-15min walk) but lovely views of the mountains. Spacious, clean dorms. Good cooking facilities available.

We had a great great stay at the Marcopolo inn, the place was very cosy and warm, the room, kitchen and bathrooms very clean, the staff (Cecilia and Isaac ++) is PERFECT whether it is to have information, book activities, have a little chat or share a dinner on the "Asado's nights". Very close from the center (10 min walking). Very good breakfast (medialunas, bread, cereals, orange juice, coffee tea etc...). I would recommend to go to Marcopolo inn to anybody that goes to Calafate!
