Overall it's an ok place. Good wifi and comfortable beds, however there are only two toilets for all of the males in the entire hostel, and they can get dirty by the end of the night. While there was security at the door, you have to turn in your room key every time you leave, and request it every time you enter. There was no real sense that they were verifying that the key you requested was actually for the room you were staying in.

Or private room had the biggest double bed we've had in 3 months in South America - decent breakfast included as well. Very helpful staff. Would recommend the local bike tour. Their restaurant is convenient for dinner but there are better and cheaper places nearby.

Had potential to be a great hostel (it's modern (looking) with good wifi), but for complete lack of common sense. Had to wait 9 hours to check in (arrived at 6am and wasn't allowed into the room until 3pm). Hot water in bathroom goes on and off every 15 seconds. There's nowhere to put clothes inside/outside of the shower cubicles, bathroom windows looking out to communal patio so everyone gets a free show! Male bathrooms are outside meaning a walk outside in the rain for every all of nature.

I had a marvelous experience at Masaya. I loved that they had a social environment without being a crazy party place. The food was so good -- best breakfast I have ever had in a hostel! I also loved how friendly and international the staff was. Everyone was so kind and helpful!

Great Hostel! My brother and I stayed their for a few nights and had no issues. They had clean rooms, hot showers, a nice restaurant and were located in a good general direction to get around in the city. Next time I return to Bogota I'll be staying at Masaya.

This place is awesome! I was thinking staying 2 days and finally I staid 10 days! The staff is very friendly and always ready to help your needs, staying there is a pleasure and the rooms are nice and clean! And there is a bar where you can eat and drink in a very good mood! Sure I ll be back! I would recommend this place to everyone...

Great thing you offered me safe taxi drive from and to airport, internet doesn't work downstairs, your kitchen could be opened for lunch to, on the streets you can only finf fast food so it would be great if you would offer local famous food in your restaurant

Masaya has to be one of the nicest hostels I have stayed at. Everything was clean and modern, the social areas great and the staff is super fun and friendly. You can't be bored at this hostel with all the stuff to do and if you tell the staff that you're bored they will set you up with a bunch of stuff to do. The Tejo trip they promote is one of the best things I've done travelling.

One of the best hostels I've already been... Nice location, close to Monserrat and the museums... Bogotá is amazing, when I get back there, I'll be in Masaya!

We extended our stay twice and stayed in 3 diff private rooms, all were very clean and very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Victoria who did an excellent job at getting the noisier guests to quiet down after 10pm! Great breakfast too! The nicest bathrooms we had seen in long while! And the security was excellent with bagID tags given whilst your luggage was stored!
