Lovely to stay in a bamboo cabin. I adored the necklace they give you with your key on! Melinda's garden is tucked away so you can't hear any of the music from the bars/hotels which is great. The free wifi reaches all the cabins and the hammocks are a great bonus. The double bed was HUGE and comfortable and the mosquito net was a godsend. We didn't have any hot water in our cabin but our neighbours next door did. Occasional cockroaches in the bathroom but not a problem.

Me and my daughter had a nice stay at Merlinda's garden. The cottages, with a big balcony, were perfect for our needs. They r located only 150 m from the beach at station 3. The woman who runs the place was very friendly and helpfull.

This is a quaint little place tucked away in the quieter side of white beach. Melinda and her family are very helpful and gave us some good tips about what to do and how to get places. The room we stayed in was basic but an absolute sweet deal!

We were delighted with our accommodations at Melinda's Garden, especially having our own cabin made almost entirely from bamboo, palm fronds etc. Everyone was very friendly and any request we had was cheerfully met. Melinda's garden, which is full of palms and lush tropical plantings, is a great place to unwind after a day of sun and fun, especially swinging on the hammock on the front deck. If you are not looking for the typical hotel "bed in a box" accommodations, this is for you.
