The hostel is located in not the safest area in town. It´s very close to El Zocalo and if there is some kind of event happening there, they will close all the surrounding streets and no taxi will be able to bring you close (We had that problem). I think that next time I´d rather sty close to zona rosa or somewhere where they provide a ride from the airport. Also, the security alarms from several buildings around were going off ALL NIGHT. Great location near the Zocalo with easy access to the metro and surrounding centro historico. Breakfast is basic but fine. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Very good hostel located in the center of the city. When you first enter it, you would rather think it's a hotel and not hostel. Lots of tourist offers and information can be found inside. It wasn't noisy at all but it may depend on the room. It is very popular so if you like communication one can find plenty.Very good hostel located in the center of the city.
