Perfect location, easily accessible, well organized, clean and fresh, huge metal lockers - big enough for the biggest backpacks. (made of metal, so can be really loud at night though) The staff was not really friendly, but it's ok. Lots of mosquitos, prepare with some repellant.

That hostel is right in historical downtown. Location is great, however; it was a bit of noisy both from the street and from other people in the hostel.

This was our final hostel after 11 months in LatAm and it was neither the best nor worst we've stayed in. Poor first impression as smoking area is right *inside* the front door and stinks out entire lobby. Otherwise everything was good; comfy beds, clean baths, decent breakfast, acceptable noise levels, reception staff good for info and directions. Only realLy lacking any atmosphere or comfy common areas for socialising and wifi patchy at times.

The hostel was spotlessly clean, staff helpful, breakfast plentiful & healthy with good range, very centrally located

Great location and okay staff, I had a okay time but the hostel isn't working properly. What the other people saying is exactly right, there is no atmosphere, no wifi in the rooms the security sleeps in the night. The toilets are not sanitary even though they get cleaned multiple times a day. In my opinion the hostel is overpriced, if I pay this much money in Mexico at least give all services that they offer on line. The hostel is not very service orientated.

It's a very clean hostel which is pefectly located in the middle of the city. However, this hostel seems more like a hotel as the atmosphere was not really warm. It was hard to get to know people so I would recommend this hostel to people that come in small groups or with a friend rather to individual travellers. Of course, if you really try to get to know people you will still have a good time there!

Nice old building remodeled as an hostel, room at upper levels have more light. Spacious lockers in the dorms -> very practical. Breakfast included in room price = good deal!

The hostel was centrally located to the old town, our private room was spotless, the reception & kitchen staff friendly. Reception staff were helpful with good English. The breakfasts were varied, plentiful & wholesome. Big widescreen TV & lounge available.

Totally worthed! The staff people are really cool, the rooms are big and clean! Breakfast is fine too and the place is very well located just a block from Zócalo! Recomended!

What we like the most about this hostel is the localisation right next to the Zocalo (not far from the airport and bus terminal), very secure, very cheap. The host were very helpful, and give good informations. Colonial style pretty nice, private room clean but tiny. Didn't find a special ambiance between backpackers, what is missing is common living room or kitchen.

I love the place! It's a little more expensive than the usual hostels we stayed in but it is worth it! Delicious breakfast, clean rooms and bathrooms, right by the zocalo! :-)

i think they should write on theit page that there are two buildings. if you see the fotos and are happy about the location then you could be sad if you have to go to the other building which looks pretty different. and they should definitely tell you about the roof top. you shouldnt miss it.

It was a great stay, the stuff very helpful and the building is beautiful. Thank you, I will come back some day!

Having a lower bunk would improve the rating but the beds are not secured and the upper bunk is like being at sea when the person below tosses and turns. Kitchen is not always available. Got a hotel room down the street, window, en suite, T.V, internet, towels, hot water for $30 less so hostel is way overpriced

It was the best hotel we stayed in Mexico. It was a private room - looked like new - enormous bathroom. Right in the city centre. There is always staff available and they are all nice and helpful. Large living room with computers, sofas and tv. Nice and clean breakfast area. Amazing shower!!!

even though it was low season, I found the hostel to be quite dull. It had great facilities and everything was clean, but there was no atmosphere at all. Everyone was fairly quiet and to themselves and there was always a group of guys hanging out in the common area which made it hard to socialise cause they were all talking their native language. I liked the facilities and the location was right, right in zocalo, but I don't think I would stay there again.
