Much better than what expected for the price. Free wifi and free breakfast were awesome. The staff were mostly very helpful, the only problem we had was it was a bit quiet - if you're looking to meet a few other travellers and party in Mexico City, choose another hostel. Otherwise very good.

Staff were extremely rude epically one female girl, I'm sure there's alot of unemployed people that would kill for her job. It doesn't take much to smile and to be nice. Such a shame because the place has a excellent location and is very clean, nice brekky with friendly male cook but that girl just ruined the vibe

Bit of a pain walking down a flight of steps from the fourth floor to the third every time I needed to use the bathroom/toilet. Great breakfast though, friendly staff and location couldn't be more central.

Full mosquito room : receptionist's advice was do not open the window ! Usual staff useless : strange , the experience was not very bad . Value for money is high .

No curtains, so there was too much sun light in the morning and people from other buildings could see you in your bedroom. Dirty bathrooms. Girls bathrooms only in the second floor. They promised breakfast at 7 am and forgot to tell the kitchen staff to prepare it earlier in the day we were leaving the city, so we lost it. Anyone can enter in the dorms area - poor security.

We stayed in he new mexico city hostel across the road from the origional. The interior is beatuifully fitted out and has a good atmosphere. The doors are a bit noisy, they seem to slam a lot when people are coming and going from there rooms which woke us a few times.

The smoking area is right as you walk in the door. So you have to smoke a few just get inside. You really ought to have that else where.

No van in the room, although outside it was not warm it got hot in our room (4th floor) - hard to sleep. People woke up early and made noise in kitchen etc. Got very loud. In the evening it was quiet. Had animals on our sheets, got changed by stuff.no elevator, hard walk up to 4th floor with bags!clean showers

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable. I stored some luggage here for free for a week! Lockers in the female dorm are screechy and make a lot of noise when you open them, so I felt bad for the people sleeping in my room when I had to get up super early to go to the airport. Also, we ran out of water that morning, so I couldn't wash my face in the sink and had to wash it when I got to the airport. Luckily, I had taken a shower the night before!

Mexico City is not the best location to visit. The hostel was very nice but in our private room we didn't have hangers to hang our clothes or anywhere to put our clothes. Some of the desk people were more helpful than others.

Good place to stay but just lacked a little something in atmosphere. Nevertheless is a good choice for a central location

The breakfest was great. And it is really good that there is a posibilidad to access internet without an own computer. But the hostal is noisy. One can hear everything what is happening in corridors, sala and other rooms. I don´t know about the dorms, but at least my private double room had a really hard bed. Luckily the pillow and blanket were good and thick. Thank you!

very clean, quiet and good value. It is definitely a better stay than the hostel catedral around the corner, if a quiet place to rest is what you are looking for.

We stayed first in another hostel just around the corner and changed two days later to this one. Now I'm travelling for more than 2 weeks in Mexico, and this one was the best we stayed in ! Don't look further, just book this one! It's just the best!!

It was amazing to stay in this Hostel. Great location, usefull and friendly staffs. We were two and small child with private bath. The room was very nice, clean and quiet. Breakfast was really good. We were there before the night flight. We cannot stay at the room, but we can use the TV room with comfortable fat boys, wifi, PC and use the shower (the gave us also towel). We really enjoy our stay there.
