The facility was very well located in Centro near the Zocalo. The staff was fabulous and very helpful. One problem: the quoted cab fare of 187p from the airport was actually 340p. It was very easy to take the Metrobus back to the airport when I left...only 30p and bus stop was only 3 blocks from the hostel. I bought my Metrobus fare card at the 7/11 on the corner. The hostel was quiet and friendly. The breakfast was very nice. No complaints! I'd definitely go back again.

I stayed for six nights there. First, the location is great. It's very close from Zocalo Metro Station and walking street. The hostel is very easy to find and it's a nice place to walk around the centro. It's quiet at night too. Second, bed and bathroom are wonderful. Matress is clean and comfortable. The hostel gives new sheets when checking in. Bathroom is very clean and well functioned. Third, common kitchen is great and clean. Common area is wide but sofa is just okay to sit.

Perfect location! - couldn't be better! -it was very cute and unique - the beds were not comfortable - the wifi mostly didnt work in our room (sometimes it would for a bit) - they do have computers for people to use though if needed. - the staff is not forthcoming with information and seems to assume you should already know all about their hostel's proceedures without them ever telling you. - breakfast was included and tasty

Do not stay at this stone castle. People are allowed to smoke inside so if you are in a large dorm on the highest level you will constantly smell tobacco. Males toilets and showers are on level five and female on level four which is really annoying if you aren't on the same level as your toilet. Staff are unhelpful- weren't able to tell us any cheap restaurants to eat at or bars to drink at. There is no common room or area to socialise- the breakfast room is cordoned off after breaki-

By far the best hostel I´ve ever stayed in. The room was spotless every day, the breakfasts were fantastic, the staff are very polite, friendly & helpful. I will definitely come back. I always felt safe & the facilities are excellent. This hostel is the industry's benchmark

We stayed in a private room and it really felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Big rooms and very clean. Great base for exploring mexico city

Great hostel and was very impressed by the cleanliness. Located in the central historic district with tons of sights and restaurants around. Could use a better common area for socializing. Overall would recommend to travelers!

Too many stairs.

This hostel was excellent. It was clean and the small dorms made making friends easier than a larger, overly packed one. It has two buildings, but one in front of the other which made checking in a little confusing. The convenience of location to the downtown area and the Metro made searching for food and things to do easy as well. Overall, this hostel is one of the best I have ever stayed at and recommend it to all.

Great location, staff, good breakfast. Shower area could use more thorough cleaning but maybe can't be helped due to the building. Which is a pretty cool structure. It would be helpful to stress that there is no checkin until the official check in time. While the computer area in Brasil no. 11 was safe and comfortable, I was surprised to have to wait until 10 am to check in.

The entire hostel went dark at around 10:30... which seems too early for me. Also it's inconvenient to walk in darkness...

Stairs were hard to climb late at night.

The hostel was clean, well managed, and the storage lockers were unusually large. The location can't be beat, and they have a 24 hour lobby.. When I was there the tv in the lounge wasn't operating, which was a disapointment. There was a tv in the kitchen lobby, however. The breakfast was ok, though the coffee could have stood some improvement. Aty least they gave real eggs for breakfast, yogurt, and cereal. It wasn't a particularly social atmosphere, but the beds were nice and firm.
