Huge hostel which felt abit like a hotel. They organise daily events including evening activities and nightlife. Beware you have to pay for all days as soon as you arrive. We were not made aware of this and had to pay on our card. ( which is not good with the exchange ) lots of computers, sofas, and a big bar with cheap drinks. Rooms were very spacious with an excellent shared bathroom. There were no facilities for a shower after check out. Good breakfast
I had the best time during my stay at Milhouse Avenue.
Great party hostel with partys at one of the sites almost every night. They also organise some great walking tours of the city which are really informative and a great way to meet people. Garden roof top is great too. Breakfast was ok, the orange juice was always warm tho! Staff were friendly and helpfull and the cages for backpacks in the rooms are nice and big!
This is the first time that I go to a hostel and a like it a lot. I recommend to go to the night club. Every body had a good time ;)

this place rocks you are going to have a blast if you stay!! highly recommend!!!!!
Nice atmosphere. There is a bar with good deals for drinks and food inside.
Stayed in a private room with ensuite and was like a mid range hotel room in Europe, very nice. Location is right in the centre of the city. Quite a dirty part of town but right in the thick of it. This hostel has activities on everyday which is neat. I wouldn't recommend the city Van tour. The tango show and bike tour was good. Football trip was a fail for us, only go if its a River or Bocca home match. Easy to meet people there. Staff are fantastic. Not many good eating options close by.
great hostel located in the city centre, very helpful and friendly staff who would answer all my questions (a lot!), even the doormen were very friendly, the only down side was there were only 2 power sockets in a 6-bed dorm, and thats located in the bathroom....
Breakfast is ok. The tango show that the hostel offer the tickets doesn't worth the money.
I had double room, no. 502 v big clean and great shower and just far enough away from parties going on in the bar areas, after my long flight, would def book further nights as and when .
Had a really good stay here. Staff are really helpful and its easy to arrange all the activities and site seeing in BA, all are reasonably priced. We did the tango night which was a lot cheaper than booking directly through the venue, great night and great value for money. Rooms are clean, bathrooms are good and the kitchen is a good size. It's very sociable but probably not the best place to relax! (It's hard to not drink and party every night!)
The hostel is the vestibular I've stayed in possible ever. The staff were amazing and very helpful, you were treated like their best friend from day one.
Its hard to say a bad thing about Millhouse, a good location with good services. I found the atmosphere to be lively but it almost felt a little like a 18-30s holiday in ibiza, it was a massive hostel and lacked the warm sociable atmosphere of smaller hostels that i prefer. I made freinds with travellers that i was sharing a room with but i found the common bar area to a little less aproachable when i came to meeting others. Not my kind of hostel, but would suit many others !!
I was in this place all people drunk! no atmosfear as in south america, no latin soul! I'm italian and I never come back in this place, I was in another hostel near this and was more and more better! beleave me I m christian bertolini from Italy
I really liked the they didnt mind another hostel guest staying in my room for a few minutes! Aussie Traveler!!!
The hostel itself was nice & recently renovated. It was clean, the staff were friendly & the bathrooms were lovely. However, the hostel is huge & as a result was very difficult to meet people as everyone stuck to their own groups. They also encouraged a party atmosphere that brought in outsiders & the place turned into an underaged (or so it seems) crowd who were more interested in hooking up than actually meeting people & having a good time - not the greatest vibe for someone In their late 20s
Good hostel overall, lacking in security as we had a crazy guy come into our private room in the middle of the night, when we locked the door he proceeded to bang on it for half an hour! We didn't want to leave the room because of him and at no point did any security help us even though we were on the first floor close to reception and there are security cameras, we left for another hostel the next day!
Really fun place! Tons of great common space to hang out, including an awesome patio and roof. They have great activities planned every day, which when i stayed in early october included a bike and winery tour and a horseback riding and bbq tour. Both were super fun with great guides and provided the time to meet a lot of other great travelers.
You'll meet cool people, and the location rocks, but the breakfast is super average and the staff are very much staff. It's a party hostel but very easy to sleep if you don't want to (big rooms!). Overall good stay, it's a good base to do things from and pre party.
