I was extremely frustrated to find out the 'air conditioned' private two bedroom room that I reserved and paid for had the air conditioning controlled by 'management/staff. i was advised that it would only run between 11pm and 11am which is misleading and an abusive. I was sick and offered offered to pay extra money to have airconditioning on when I wanted it on and the extremely rude female manager ignored me and chose to have an employee pass on her unwillingness to assist me.

Great hostel! Locations is really good on Av De Mayo. The hostel has a bar and does meals, but also has a kitchen for you to cook your own food. Activities on everyday and night, staff are great and give you all the information you need when you arrive. Also have a cool rooftop! Would def recomend to others and come back to stay.

I had way too much fun here!! Stayed for 3 weeks while studying Spanish. Although not ideal for getting normal hours of sleep, I had some of the best nights of my travels here. The people I met were great and the staff absolutely wonderful!! Best facilities of any hostel. The privates though expensive are so nice and totally worth it! I LOVED my time here.

The ambience was good and the rooms were comfortable. The toilets were nice, but water would collect in the bathrooms. The wifi was slow and only available in the lobby. The breakfast was little, compared to other hostels I went to in Argentina and Brazil.

Huge party hostel, if that is what you are looking for. Daily activities were great and dorms kept quite tidy. Although there was a pretty bad bed bugs out break while we stayed there

Get new computers and a wifi booster. They are too slow. Provide washing up liquid in kitchen because I could not see any which was dishearten because it then made me think that other guests don't use any. It would be better if you kept the pool table open all night. Provide a mop&bucket for the showers for when another guest floods the shower area. Insert power sockets to the storage lockers so you can power your phone without the need to watch over it.

Kitchen is not fantastic. But dorms are great and clean (look out for bedbugs since this hostel is huge). The atmosphere is amazing and people are so cool. I had the best time here, and this hostel made my experience of BA so much better than it would be otherwise. Great hostel if you're travelling alone- there are always people to hang out with. Evening: always party- good party. But if you want to sleep, it's not impossible since the sound actually doesn't go in to the dorms. LOVED IT! GO!

Good hostel. Secure, organized and clean. The environment was not very exciting.

Milhouse was huge with a lot of partying and spotless facilities. It is a well oiled machine that goes through backpackers like we're sausages on a conveyor belt. For me it was too big and therefore very clinical and charmless, there was no feeling. But aside from that cannot fault the hostel.

this was my second time there.. this is a true party hostel :D on the other hand, if need to relax there are many calm places.. and as the rooms are in elevated floors .. the noise of the party don't disturt this a veeerry good hostel.. I will come back much more times...

If you're in South America and you've never heard of Milhouse then maybe it's not the place for you. If massive, cram 'em in, super party hostels are your thing, you'll love it. Good facilities, staff and tour desk, but the WIFI SUCKS! Sort it out guys, 200 people on a dial up connection?

This is the best hostel I've ever been in my life! The only little complain I have is not having wi-fi in the bedrooms, so when we needed to use the internet we had to go to the common area downstairs, and there were very few computers avaiable.

If you want to party stay here, if you don´t probably best you look elsewhere.. bit annoying how the smoking area is where the kitchen is so if you are cooking you will be eating surrounded by smoke..

Loved it, great atmosphere and great advice on how to get around the city and what to do. Staff were super friendly, just need a bit more service behind the bar!

I had the pleasure of staying in a Private room while i was at Milhouse Avenue. I would especially like to Thank Pablo Fazzari for conducting himself in a professional manner when i realised the A/C wasnt working in my room He moved me over to a Private Room with a balcony overlooking Avenido de Mayo. I seriously felt like i was at a jotel more than hostel. I also want to thank The rest of the staff that made my stay unforfettable. Manuella, Gabriel, Alberto, Cynthia i could go on for ever.
