Not bad, good hostel if you fancy a party, expensive part of town. Staff reluctant to help sometimes but overall competent.

Great hostel if you are looking to party and meet people. I prefered Milhouse Hipo. Its smaller and more intimate.

Pros: Great location, very clean, good breakfast, big rooms, hot showers 24/7. Cons: Too big thus not a place to meet other travels, expensive prices for tours and tickets to clubs, Wifi barely works, not the "party hostel" that everybody was raving about.

I booked a female dorm, but when getting in the room there where 3 guys taking a nap in several beds (including mine). Ofcourse not something you can completely prevent, but maybe some prohibition or any other way to discourage such behaviour

Beside Milhouse Hipo, the best party place, and a great place to meet up with others. If you are going to live down town in Bueno Aires, this is the place! If you are above 26-28 years old, some of the nights clubs will be a bit young for you though. Just a remark.

Good clean big party hostel .. Met a lot of nice people and had fun ! Although they should have more cooking equipment in kitchen especially considering there was not much of a food menu and the cook was rarely around .. Plus should really train the staff to actually know the city, was given incorrect info a couple times and it was especially bad with a couple of the male staff who were more interested I'm chatting girls up when they just wanted a simple answer to a simple question !

It was a very nice and clean hostel. But it was definately too loud. People were singing and listening to loud music in the area of the bedrooms. This should only be aloud at the rooftop or in the bar area.

This was a great, lively hostel. The only thing that annoyed us was that we arrived early and so couldn't check in until 2pm, which we completely understand as that's the official check in time, but when we finally did get in our room the cleaners then came in afterwards. After waiting 7 hours to get in the room we thought they could have at least got this done before then. Other than that, a fun place to stay in a great location.

We enjoyed our stay at the hostel in our twin room. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. I didn't realise air-conditioning would be an additional cost. The security to get into the complex was good however our door seemed dodgy and could probably be pushed in if someone really wanted to get in. Breakfast would be much better if it included some eggs.

Luggage room without security isn't safe. Had to switch room in the second day I stayed and I had to wait 3 hours to check in again. plus, I had to put all my luggage in a room without security! I don't understand why it's prohibited to bring alcohol to the room?!?! You cannot prohibit it legally, especially when you sell alcohol!!! Rooms are really dirty - looks like a bus station. It was the first hostel I have seen that charges for the pool table! Why???

I stayed in both Milhouse Avenue and Hipo and I'd prefer Hipo. I think Milhouse Avenue is too big - I felt like entering a McDonalds. Everything feels standardised. Crowd is quite young (20-24) and more people on holiday and travelling in groups than individual backpackers. Many events, tours, parties, free tango classes organised, very good!! Rooms are clean, breakfast was good. Safety guard/entrance guy made me feel safe.

A couple of male staff were very rude, made me wonder why they were working in a hostel at all. You have to pay for air conditioning per night. They tried to rip us off with the cost of a taxi to the airport. Tours are overpriced. Bar area is boiling hot when there are a few people in there and they don't turn the air conditioning on. Wifi is absolutely awful, It only works in the bar area and disconnects all the time and is very slow. Still, beds were comfortable and rooms clean. Won't go back!
