It would be helpful if the description also had the address in Chinese, to show it to the taxi drivers or find the bus stop easier. The place was ok and the stuff were great, really helpful and nice. Also, don't forget you have to pay deposit money (100 RMB).

Excellent location next to the 7 mile shantang, easy to find. Staff very helpful. Dorm rooms a little cramped and beds have no mattress, only hard wooden surface. Didn't bother me, but others had an uncomfortable night. The place is clean enough and not too noisy. Enjoyed my stay here. Thanks.

The only thing that I missed was a tour of the hostel, for example no one told me where the toilets and bathrooms and some other facilities are, but in general we were very satisfied and the hostel is very nice.

The hostel bathrooms and washing area for the dorm was cramped and unclean, with no soap or toilet paper or hooks for clothes in the shower/ toilets. The blinds didn't work in our dorm room and no guide to the facilities (hire bikes, lounge, kitchen, bar, cafe etc.) was given. There were also no maps of the area available. The beds were clean and the dorm room quiet. Overall, a typical Chinese (but not international-standard YHA) hostel.

Awesome spot in Suzhou next to a really nice authentic Chinese street! Sizable rooms! You will definitely not regret staying here!

Location was great, right next to beautiful canals and metro station. The hostel itself was a bit cold and dirty. Drains seemed to be clogged often. Showers and toilets in the same tiny cabin: everything was wet. Room key cards were deactivated about every single time you left the room. Staff was okay. Facilities were good, hairdryers and free toilet paper etc. Dorm room was comfortable, except beds were quite hard. Nothing too special to mention, overall stay was quite okay.

It was freezing cold in the room.

No locks on most lockers! For some reason every single time you leave the building your keycard gets deactivated. The building is not heated in the winter. It was freezing! The rooms have heat, but cleaning people like to turn it off and open your windows when you're away. Some of the toilets don't work and they never had TP. A lot of burnt out lights and clogged sinks. Most of the guests are Chinese families, including Grandma and Grandpa, babies and children. VERY LOUD STAY.

Staff were friendly and room was fine (although the first room we got, the windows didn't lock. However, staff had no problem changing us to a different room though). Only problem was that it 'offered' breakfast and food but the chef was never available to cook. You shouldn't advertise food available if it isn't actually available.

The hostel is located right next to one of the canals and is only a short bus ride from a couple of the main gardens. The Wifi did not work when I was there and the schedule for breakfast was not followed. The only secure place to keep valuables was the desk which did have a camera on it, but many of the storage bins in the rooms were missing latches.
