This was a cozy, friendly hostel. It felt very safe and I liked the staff a lot. The area is so beautiful and rich with good restaurants, shops, nice tourists, bars, and things to do. The other guests were friendly and respectful. No one really seemed to stick around during the day. Check out the cafe connected with the hostel.
I came there tired from an overnight train and the staff was very accomdating even helping me with some phone issues. The bed was rock hard but the room was nice. They advise to keep your valuables at the front desk because staff have stolen items which was very concerning. The patio was beautiful and the showers and bathroom are the same room of course but they are what you expect from a hostel. Location was amazing right near the metro and a bus ride away from every attraction in the old city.
Keep the style with a lot of plants and your kindness! It was a nice weekend with you! Please repair the lockers in the rooms and make them safer. And a little bit toiletpaper would be awesome or write it as information in your description. Thank you!

Quite good is the location of the hostel near to a metro station. Unfortunately, all the bikes don't really work - which isn't too good, since bike rental is advertised (and was a reason for me to choose it). The lockers aren't really large and cannot be locked, the bathrooms are flooded due to dual toilet/shower use.
good location, staff were friendly and helpful, wifi didn't work but luckily a nearby decent free wifi could be accessed from the courtyard. had a nice bar and courtyard but it was dead apart from us and 1 Swedish girl. lockers couldn't lock. very dusty and dirty under the beds. overall decent though the lockers and wifi should be improved.
A bit confusing to find at first until you get to the main entrance. Large bar/lounge/garden area, however it was empty when I was there. Shower/toilet cubicles are a bit cramped. Staff is very nice including the dogs.
The staff were not useful at all, they couldn't describre to the taxi driver where was the hostel!!! The wifi doesn't work. The bed sheets were not changed and hair were not the worse thing we find on the sheets that were not change... The location is good. If you use the Metro it is easy to find the place and it is just next to the very nice old street and canal of suzhou so in the evening you can take a walk there after all the other attraction are close.
It would be helpful if the description also had the address in Chinese, to show it to the taxi drivers or find the bus stop easier. The place was ok and the stuff were great, really helpful and nice. Also, don't forget you have to pay deposit money (100 RMB).
Excellent location next to the 7 mile shantang, easy to find. Staff very helpful. Dorm rooms a little cramped and beds have no mattress, only hard wooden surface. Didn't bother me, but others had an uncomfortable night. The place is clean enough and not too noisy. Enjoyed my stay here. Thanks.

The only thing that I missed was a tour of the hostel, for example no one told me where the toilets and bathrooms and some other facilities are, but in general we were very satisfied and the hostel is very nice.
Super nice stuff. Good recommendation for restraunt and shopping center:-)
The hostel bathrooms and washing area for the dorm was cramped and unclean, with no soap or toilet paper or hooks for clothes in the shower/ toilets. The blinds didn't work in our dorm room and no guide to the facilities (hire bikes, lounge, kitchen, bar, cafe etc.) was given. There were also no maps of the area available. The beds were clean and the dorm room quiet. Overall, a typical Chinese (but not international-standard YHA) hostel.
Awesome spot in Suzhou next to a really nice authentic Chinese street! Sizable rooms! You will definitely not regret staying here!
Location was great, right next to beautiful canals and metro station. The hostel itself was a bit cold and dirty. Drains seemed to be clogged often. Showers and toilets in the same tiny cabin: everything was wet. Room key cards were deactivated about every single time you left the room. Staff was okay. Facilities were good, hairdryers and free toilet paper etc. Dorm room was comfortable, except beds were quite hard. Nothing too special to mention, overall stay was quite okay.
No locks on most lockers! For some reason every single time you leave the building your keycard gets deactivated. The building is not heated in the winter. It was freezing! The rooms have heat, but cleaning people like to turn it off and open your windows when you're away. Some of the toilets don't work and they never had TP. A lot of burnt out lights and clogged sinks. Most of the guests are Chinese families, including Grandma and Grandpa, babies and children. VERY LOUD STAY.
