I enjoyed very much staying with this family. It enhanced my experience of being in India.

It is very close to main Gath and burning Gath, easy for boat rides and cerimony every night. It's small but cozy, the big room on 2nd floor was fine for us and bathroom/hot shower also. Wi-Fi ok, except last day. Laundry ok. The family is very nice and it's good ambience having them around. We found prices for food, trips and tickets a bit expensive, so did it all by ourselves. In reality it could be an ok charge regarding you have no trouble to arrange stuff and he guarantees good service.
This was a perfect place to stay, right in the thick of things and yet quiet and calm. It is on a cross lane between the last two lanes that run left before the main Ghat where the big ceremony happens every night. The lanes are full of small shops. The guesthouse owner is friendly and helpful and the room I stayed in although simple was all that could he needed.
