We really enjoyed our stay and even stayed for another night. The best part of the place is Monu, who will do anything to make you comfortable, answer a million questions and do everything else! The rooms are small and basic but the whole house is colorful and it just creates a cozy atmosphere. The only thing we were "missing" is that they don't have their own restaurant/breakfast, but that wasn't a big problem either because we just always went to the guest house next door for food (5 metres)!

Some of the best service that I've received in India! There isn't a/c, but the wifi always works and they have toilet paper. The pillows and mattress were very firm, but I think that's how a lot of hotels are in India. Very friendly, caring staff. They speak great English. The one issue is that my guide told me that they won't let guides pick up guests there, because they try really hard to push their own guides on guests. However, he said this is a problem with all guesthouses.

Monu was a great manager and personally helped us out with a bunch of stuff. The stay was worth it because of him. The only downside was that the beds were pretty dirty.

Nice family-run guesthouse, with colourful paint on all walls which gives it a lively and happy atmosphere. The small alley is a bit dodgy, but right in the middle of the old city, it contributes to the real 'varanasi'-experience! Friendly staff who helped us with laundry, booking train

Very decent guesthouse. Clean by indian standard. Location is 7mins walk to main ghat. No private bathroom attached. Wifi wasn't working very well when I was there.

I loved staying at Monu's - super clean, great location, very cozy bed. I felt safe, and relaxing in my room was a nice break from all-pervasive activity of Varanasi.

The guest house is situated really close to the ghats plus the Brown Bread Bakery and some other fab restaurants. It can be quite hard to find from the main roads so when arriving off the train then its worth while getting the guesthouse to pick you up. It is clean and the staff are really helpful. The owner/manager is just about to get a license in Tourism and then will run boat tours - he is really knowledgeable so I reckon his tours will be great. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic location, right in the middle of old Varanasi. The bedroom was really simple (the blaket looked as if it hasn't been washed ever), toilet is shared and could be better. Staff is polite and the price is fair.

A lovely family run guest house in the center of old varanasi, 5 minutes walk through the winding lanes to the main Ghat. We took advantage of their free pick up service and our driver was waiting for us outside our carriage when we got off the sleeper train. The room was clean and the free WiFi was great would definitly recommend this guest house to anyone staying in varanasi.
