Muffin Hostel Reviews

Einfach und schlicht, aber das Zimmer mit Dusche & WC war sauber und geräumig; die Lage ist gut - nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt; der Preis für eine teure Stadt wie Salzburg extrem günstig; außerdem gibt es eine Gemeinschaftsküche in der Etage und einen kleinen Garten. Nachteil: kein Frühstück, nur Barzahlung, keine Kreditkarten, die Wände sind etwas dünn - auch im Einzelzimmer hört man mitunter die Nachbarn.

Ok if you are just staying for a night and need somewhere cheap. However we had a 3 bed mixed dorm and the room was TINY...think single University room with the desk taken out and a bunk bed put in.

I really loved it!!!

Really enjoyed our stay here, really nice atmosphere chilling out in the garden and playing table tennis in the basement. Good kitchen, only downside is the internet, as it is almost impossible to access at peak times and painfully slow. Good laundry facilities for €2. Staff were very helpful and organised fun activities e.g. pub crawl throughout the town. Would recommend!

very nice staff and lots of activities organized (pub crawl...). Rooms are very clean. There are 2 kitchens with fridge and freezer. You can park your car in front of the building. we had a really nice time here :)

Nice hostel, felt there a bit like student again :) Located close to city center in lovely calm neighourhood next to park. Staff was very nice and friendly :)) Plus for big parking in front of building, minus for very poor wifi conection.

Staff was wonderfully helpful and really good looking. The Hostel is located about 15 minutes walk from everything touristy. Its a little hard to find at first, as the street are not well defined. At the bus stop they tell you to get off at, the road on the left that follows the mountain/hill is the one you want to take. No real security lockers, but with so few people per room its not so bad. There is only one key per room, and must be returned to the reception. Great for 1-2 nights.

It is a very nice hostel in a beautiful area surrounded by gardens and at reception you get a real muffin. :) The barbecue and the garden was beautiful. Recommend.

Everything was just like in the description. Great staff, nice people. I really recommend this hostel!

Clean, confortable, kind staff, 15min walking to the city center. However, it is quite expensive to be a hostel where you have to make your bed and share a bathroom/shower.

After reading previous comments I was little concerned about their wifi, but it worked great in my room. They have huge, beautiful garden where they organising BBQ's. That's so grat! I've met so many wonderful people there.
