This hostel was the most beautiful hostel that I used in China because of kindness and happiness people. Thank you for everything I miss all of you!!

Rustic, flavor of resort. Remote from city. May help to have a bike. Restaurants not nearby. Alleys dark at night. Staff are friendly but most don't speak English. Subway station 12-15 min walk. Available use of washing machine costs 10 yuan. Rooms fairly new, well-designed. Mattress good, lighting not good. WIFI in room. A/C good. Comfortable country chair provided. Stall shower small but OK. Desk OK, wooden stool instead of chair. No TV. If you like convenience, this may not be the place.

Excellent place to stay in Nanjing. Clean and comfortable with friendly staff.

I expected more from this place. The room was ok, but the smell in the bathroom was overwhelmingly disgusting. No one cleaned the room or changed the towels during my stay. I doubt that it was cleaned before I moved in. Staff at the reception showed no smile - ever. They seemed to be bothered by questions.

We had a great stay here, and would recommend it to basically anyone in Nanjing. It was cold in our room, and the air conditioner was to loud to have on while sleeping, but that was the only complaint! the Staff we great, food was basic but tasty, and the metro is a nice short walk and close to the city center areas and tourist areas. Thanks for an awesome experience!

Hostel location is good, 10 minutes from the metro station and close to 1912 area. The common room was nice and cozy, with comfy sofas, books etc, but kinda cold in winter (door doesn't close completely); food and drinks are really expensive and service was super slow. The room was cold too, but the ac was simply too noisy to keep it on during the night (noise level: airplane landing). Sheets were clean, lockers and bathroom broken but somehow functioning. Cheap, but only ok for one night.

Location is not great—walking to/from nearest subway station is not fun, especially carrying luggage. Ended up taxiing pretty much everywhere. However, it does happen to be right next door to "Words" bar which is pretty lively and fun. Inside was nice. "Loft" area with 27 bunk beds was kind of fun. All wood, not those rickety metal beds some places have. Very limited privacy. Cold if you go in winter. Downstairs coffee shop area was also good if pricey.

Staff is nice but the hostel is cold during winter. The bar is very expensive compare to room price: so no one is consuming, so the living room is not living at all. For example coffee is the same price (maybe more expensive) than starbucks but the area is not as comfortable than starbucks. Even tea is at 15 or 20 RMB.... You should maybe try to price more accurate your items. Lastly, the 30 people room is not really friendly...

I was not very impressed with this hostel. The desk manager was rather rude and the cleanliness was poor. The location was decent, but I wouldn't recommend staying here.

I enjoyed my stay, however: The dorm room was way too cold; it was difficult to sleep. The internet connection was quite poor especially in the dorm room. House food very expensive. The staff were pleasant, helpful, with a good level of English. The hostel is quirky and visually pleasant. The hostel is also in a very good location with convenience shops, restaurants, main town, clubs and transport all within a 2-15 minutes walk.

They located in a small alley, which give them a very quite environment. On the contrary, to take a taxi is not so easy. But the hostel is near to Subway and many scenic spots. And the staff there is so nice and food is good also. Really recommend to stay here.
