The location is good, but the bus system is a little bit difficult for me, because I don't speak Chinese. It will be much better when the subway is ready. The hostel has a nice pool table, wifi and the best mattress (double room) I slept on in China so far. So soft.

Good friendly staff, nice showers and toilets, good atmosphere in the common area. sometimes the wifi had trouble. The bathrooms didn't have soap which made them lose points for cleanliness.

It is a great place, the staff very attentive and helpful, Location right in middle of the town; everything of interest is basically in walking distance. Very recommadable hostel indeed!

good beds, good showers, good AC, staff is helpful and as far as i can tell getting a vietnamese visa is the same price there as at the embassy. excellent common area to hang out/meet people playing pool and that sometimes has local music which is really nice. only thing I didn't like is that there aren't enough lockers for everyone, I had to leave my things unattended more than I would have liked to (although nothing went missing). one locker/person should be implemented immediately.

The hostel is in a good location for Nanning City but it's difficult to get taxi's in the morning when you're trying to get somewhere. The staff were a little unfriendly. Most of them had bad English and weren't very helpful. More hostile to any questions.

Pros: Really good practical base; very helpful staff; modern rooms. I forgot my sweater in the hostel, and after contacting them they shipped it via courier to my address. I really appreciate that. Cons: "Big-hostel" feel: no intimate atmosphere with other travellers or staff; internet very slow.

Very modern hostel with friendly and helpful staff. It's well located in the centre of the shopping district, rooms are spacious and showers are hot. Nanning isn't the most exciting city in China, but if you need to stay here for a few days I would definitely recommend it. Also has a pool table and good movie collection for when you get bored of walking round the city!

Clean, quiet, well-furnished and reasonably priced with all the necessities. The shower rooms were under repair when I stayed there, so there was only one available when I was there. Hope they have opened up more showers by now.

A perfectly servicable hostel managed by adolescents who seemingly use it as a base to hang out with friends leaving it feeling a bit souless. A middling hostel with nothing exceptional - if you have to spend a night or two in Nanning this is perfectly adequate. Probably slightly overpriced (unless booking via Hostelworld - the price almost doubles when booking in person) for what it is. No major complaints, just nothing to reccommend it.

This place was alreet, and with a stay or two. It's quite near the Train station, but don't follow the directions on the email, they won't make sense! The staff are nice, ESP Elaine, and the beds are comfortable. Dorm is a bit noisy though as its right next to the bathroom. Two out of three showers were out of order when I was here, but not sure why. Location is good, ignore the dingy staircase as it's much nicer when you get inside!

Nice staff, clean and organized. We were there for Chinese New Year and they had a dumpling party which was nice for social gathering, combination western and chinese balance. they need more staff to provide food service, the front desk girls are over worked but they keep great attitudes throughout. Beds are very comfortable!

It's would better, if the hostel provide us a dryer or a place to air-dry the laundry

I had a great stay. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and very roomy. The free toiletry items are great. The only suggestion I have is that all staff be willing to try to speak Chinese with those travelers who wish to do so. Some were good at this. Some were not so good.

The friendly staff have proven very helpful, the beds are fine, the showers excellent. The food is only mediocre but there are so many restaurants nearby this becomes irrelevent. Wifi gets a bit stressed late on but otherwise is better than many. They are very relaxed and easy going, with a nice big lounge area and the pool table is even useable. It is definitely a good choice.
