The manager Abdul is INCREDIBLE. He arranged drivers for us all around Dar, booked flights for us, recommended restaurants, etc and gave me his # so I could text him from Zanzibar to arrange our travel back...He was always there & outstanding. Never have I had service like that. Abdul made our stay in Dar 1000x better than it would have been. If you aren't sure about booking, it is 100% worth it because of Abdul. I was travelling with 4 others who all agreed that we would have preferred to stay here over a higher end hotel because of him

Very difficult to comment on a lot of the above as we were there for only one night and using it as a means to get to our next destination. Not a good location for Dar centre but great if getting the coach from Umbungo bus station to Moshi/Arusha. What i can say was that the hotel manager was excellent. He was very informative, helpful and gave you a real idea of what to expect in his country and the do's and don'ts while when visiting. Ask him for anything and he will do his upmost to provide!

The room was a bit dirty and smelly. Furthermore it wasn\'t possible to pay anything by creditcard, even though they had a visa sign in the reception. But the staff was very sweet and they have excellent fried chicken and icecold Kilimanjaro in the restaurant.

It was a good hotel to rest after the ferry from Zanzibar before catching our flight in Dar es Salaam. The staff was really friendly and helpful, the food was good, the AC in the room worked well. The neighborhood is a bit dodgy, but we weren´t looking to walk around and you can catch a cab to more interesting places in the city. The shower needs improvement, as it´s just a showerhead between the sink and the toilet.
