The room was bad, water on the floor at the bathroom. The ac was only working half the time. Cable tv was not there and there were Cockroaches everywhere. We had booked for two day but stayed for 4 hours, then we checked out.the owner was nice and gave us back the money, but dont consider going there its not worth a try. Can not recommend this hotel.

This is a good Hotel. We found nice staff, against that what we read. The facilities are good, the cleaning is also ok. Its not an outstanding hotel but for sure a good value for money. I would come back without any problem.

It was advertised as having a swimming pool which was not the case and this was the main reason we got it . There was no minibar. The sheets were not clean. Close to airport but there is nothin else around - no restaurants or shops

Bondeni is a diamond in the rough. Good building and decent location (although not City Centre), but it needs a bit of upgrading and the housekeeping needs to be monitored better. The room was adequate for 2, but could use curtains to keep the morning sun out. The restaurant is a bit dark and dingy, could use some brightening. The main issue was the housekeeping, but if that is overcome, the price is right and it is a decent hotel for the price. Could use better Wifi too and tv channels 1-3...?

2-4 kilometers outside of Dar es salaam, took 5-10 minutes to get to the city center in a taxi. Hotel was dark and not very clean, saw lots of cockroaches in my room and light in toilet didn't work and the toilet door couldn't close at all. We only stayed there for 16 hours before our flight home, would have prefered something closer to center, nothing to do in the outskirts of the town.

A good location for a budget hotel, on the main Morogoro Rd linking the airport and city centre, although there is little to do in the immediate vicinity. The manager collected me from the airport himself and waited for an hour as the flight was delayed. However there was no hot water for the shower, the bedsheet was a probably unwashed thick blanket and the overall atmosphere was quite seedy and tired. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are simply after a bed for one night.

Dear Jeol I am really sorry to hear that you didnt get hot water in shower and also surprise as our hot water system is excellent and working fine and no complain till since installed any way sorry for that but if the case you shoud make a request at the receiption or me for the inconvienence and also regarding bedsheets or cleanliness of the room i am sorry but we provide fresh bedsheets every day i mean cleaned as we consider cleanliness first priority all and all i am sorry for the inconvinence you had and will try my best to improve it on suggestion/complains regards Abdul Hussain

The manager Abdul is INCREDIBLE. He arranged drivers for us all around Dar, booked flights for us, recommended restaurants, etc and gave me his # so I could text him from Zanzibar to arrange our travel back...He was always there & outstanding. Never have I had service like that. Abdul made our stay in Dar 1000x better than it would have been. If you aren't sure about booking, it is 100% worth it because of Abdul. I was travelling with 4 others who all agreed that we would have preferred to stay here over a higher end hotel because of him

Nice, cheap hotel near to downtown. Hot water and good chicken!:)

Dirty, smelly and old :(

Very difficult to comment on a lot of the above as we were there for only one night and using it as a means to get to our next destination. Not a good location for Dar centre but great if getting the coach from Umbungo bus station to Moshi/Arusha. What i can say was that the hotel manager was excellent. He was very informative, helpful and gave you a real idea of what to expect in his country and the do's and don'ts while when visiting. Ask him for anything and he will do his upmost to provide!

It was a good hotel to rest after the ferry from Zanzibar before catching our flight in Dar es Salaam. The staff was really friendly and helpful, the food was good, the AC in the room worked well. The neighborhood is a bit dodgy, but we weren´t looking to walk around and you can catch a cab to more interesting places in the city. The shower needs improvement, as it´s just a showerhead between the sink and the toilet.

The manager was very professional, efficient and helpful, as were the staff. the room was well furnished, clean and comfortable, with a bath! and an interesting view of Dar. There is a very posh little restaurant and bar and the outside terrace was excellent. Food and service was good and great value. Bad points? Weekend nightclub almost next door. 'Unusual' breakfast menu. You could easily pay twice the rate in Dar and not get anywhere near the standard of service or quality.
