It would be nice if the security guard could speak a bit more English!

The staff was very helpful, they even give the map around there. The location is very near to the attractions.

Great, clean, convenient hostel. Massive lockers are really nice to keep all your stuff safe

A special hostel. About 20 min walk to the main "tourist" area, but well worth being in this quieter part of town. Fantastic street food right outside in the evenings, full of locals. Next to Golden Mountain if you want a haven of extra peace and quiet in the middle of the big city. Inside, the place is superb. Real character, awesome bathrooms, clean. Very helpful staff. My fourth stay, will be back again. Recommended.

Great facilities. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had to hang around until the next night and they didn't mind me taking a quick nap in the common are :) Near all the main cultural sights. And Thipsamai Thai too!

The location and the staff are the most important aspect that I want to point out. The location is perfect, near Khao San, where you can reach by 10 minutes of walking, and the most famous Pad Thai restaurant, where you can reach by 3 minutes or less by walking, also the Grand Palace, Chinatown, Wat Pho, and so many important places near by. About the staff, they knew how to help and were ready to suggest you where to go. Don't miss their Thai Milk Tea, it's addictive, I love it.

Really great and helpful staff. Give you tea when you arrive and have free water for you the whole time. Very clean hostel, and very basic also. Small living room and cramped coffee shop, not all that conducive to making friends but we managed to in our room. The other guests were decent and chill people, not just young crazy kids only here to get wasted. Only weird thing were the blankets, they're just large towels.

Had a nice stay here at Niras. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The hostel is centrally located, about 15 minute walk to everything. It was also quite in the hostel, so if you are looking to sleep while still being able to meet new people. I would definitely recommend this hostel to any one passing through Bangkok.

Good location, there isn't really a common room where you can relax and meet other travellers. Of course there's the coffee shop but not a real place to relax. But location is really good and staff very helpful. Would stay again.

Overall - Best hostel I stayed in in Thailand Staff- extremely nice and helpful. Security – Large lockers in rooms with keys provided, staff on door 24hrs a day. Location – between old town and downtown, walking took about 15 mins to KS road, 30 mins to downtown and sky train (didnt need a taxi at all) Facilities - Everything clean and in good condition, spacious rooms and individual electrical socket for each bed Wifi - most reliable I had during my trip, worked perfectly throughout the hostel

Great place, super safe! Good location, but u can find a place at khaosan and msybe cheaper. Go to the pad thai place across the street! You won't regret it! Quiet, clean, fun. Not the beeest atmosphere, but good. Almost everyone I met had stayed there before and returned to use this place as their travel hub. Good internet everywhere. 24 hr security.

Cool hostel located in an area of town for those who want to experience a real local bangkok feeling. It's a walkable distance from the Palace, the gold montain and Khaosan Road as well. The rooms were clean and individual lockers big enough to put the whole backpack there. It lacks a computer with internet but they do have wifi. Would stay there again though.

A small, cozy hostel with a "family" feel. About 20mins walk to Khao San Rd (15min fast). Close to a lot of attractions. Staff were very nice and helpful. Difficult for taxis to find even with instructions. Hot water was temperamental. 150bht for laundry. 55bht for a great coffee. Breakfast ?120bht. TV Room with good selection of DVDs to chill. Best suited for those wanting a personal and relaxing time and definitely not a party hostel.

Nice stuff, clean place, close to lots of placed! Street food around the corner. Small coffee included at the place to hang out! 10 minutes easy recognisable walk to khao San even at night

The staff was super friendly! Very lovely people that make you feel welcome. They help you with any problem and are happy to answer every question you have. The free breakfast was very nice as well. The rooms are quiet and enough space. I would definately recommend this hostel. Only downside is that ist quite far from everythhing. But good place to relax.

Amazing latte! One of the cleanest hostels we've stayed in, great atmosphere for chilling, locks for the lockers, and wifi that actually works.
